I wish I could give 0! The worst possible Vet. Literally left my sweet boy with a 3 inch open gash from him being neutered. The stitches came completely out. We called and text including pictures of his open wound. I was first told it wasn't that bad, see pictures, then told to bring him back the next day, a Sunday, at 8:00 am. We did and no one ever showed up! We had to call them and ask where are you? The Dr. said, " I'm sorry I'm in Toronto!" Seriously!!!!!!?????? In addition, our boy is a German Shepherd/Black Lab mix about 130lbs. Yes he is a scary looking, giant, solid black dog, but he is the sweetest boy. In front of other clients in the lobby, the Dr. actually told me he is scared of my dog, doesn't trust him and NOT to let my husband bring him in because my husband is too sensitive about the dog!! We love our dog like another child so of course we are concerned when he is not healthy. Unfortunately, he suffers from severe allergies and yes we have done everything we could. Diet change, supplements, special baths ect... We were very loyal to this Vet and trusted them to care for our boy. Big mistake. Instead of actually treating the problem he just covered it up with a shot. Let's also state that each time we had to pay for an office visit as well as the shot which only gave him a few days of relief and did nothing to treat his condition nor his skin which was just itching away. His solid black coat was white from his skin flaking off. Now insert new Vet, Berkely Animal Clinic, who after ONE visit, has our baby on a medication that is treating the itch and within 24 hours he is a happy dog for the first time in 2 years! His coat is black and beautiful with minimal flaking. In conclusion, if you love your animal and want the absolute best medical care, DO NOT ENTRUST THIS VET.

The entire staff at West Woodward is top notch. Highly recommended. The staff worked very hard to make sure my dog Murphy was diagnosed and medicated properly. My dog is already feeling and looking better.

My vet to go to..but that changed recently when I had an issue that needed attention from a vet..took my pet to west Woodward clinic and frank mckenna told me to come back another day..that he really couldn't help me anyway. ..this vet is unprofessional and lacks proper vet credentials and he's retiring..I went to another vet whrer my pet received proper care and is doing fine now....avoid this vet as I wouldn't trust his skills ever again...his always been harsh not friendly no bedside manner..hes mean.
