Scammers

This place is a scam. I had one of my cats spayed there and they told me that she was pregnant when she could not have been because she was and still is an inside cat with no access to male cats. Today, I took my cat in due to breathing issues. They wanted to do an xray, provided me an estimate before proceeding, and I approved. Based on the xray, thet wanted to run an EKG and send the resultsto a cardiologist. The doctor said she would have a nurse provide me an estimate. No estimate was provided. They ran the EKG anyway without me approving or knowing the price for the EKG, and then only deducted $125 for their error. I was still charged $160 for the EKG. Additionally, the nurses' attitudes changed when I told them about their error and they became quite snarky regarding how much money I had and was willing to pay. I will never use their services again. They will do anything to take your money.

I’ve been bringing my dog and two cats to Dworkis for a little over a year now. Both doctors are very good. The hours are convenient and they are always able to get me in for an appointment same day. The staff is always friendly. The facility is kept very tidy and clean. When my dog was sick I was given an estimate for the cost of his care by Dr. Sahota and Tammy and they went over everything in detail. I was nervous leaving him but they were so knowledgeable that I knew he was in good hands. The prices were much less than some of the bigger places around. I feel like the care he got was very good. The tech Hannah gave me updates when I called and was so nice. I would definitely recommend Dworkis to friends and family in the area. They truly love animals and care about the health of your pet.

My cat is always very scared at the vets. He went to Dworkis for the first time a few weeks ago. They have a room just for cats. I think he liked that better. The doctor was nice and liked cats a lot as well. Prices were good and the technician was upfront with the charges before doing tests and things. Got a call back quickly with his results.

We have been going to Dworkis Dog & Cat for many years. They understand dog parents and treat us and our dog like family. Everyone always has time to talk about any concerns that we have. They mail reminder cards for vaccinations and physicals needed. We can make appointments with two days notice. We would highly recommend them.

We love taking our puppy to Dworkis for all his veterinary needs! All the staff are so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, and we know our fur baby is getting the best care around.

I booked an appointment with Dworkis over a month in advance to secure arrangements for a USDA certified veterinarian to complete my cat’s health check and international health certificate. Then I receive a phone call 24 hours before my appointment telling me the only certified veterinarian on staff won’t be able to make the appointment and I can either reschedule that day or a day later. With the time details required by the country I was flying to this would be cutting too close for comfort leaving me open for a potential situation where my pet could be rejected at the airport. Apparently, making diligent plans and timing things perfectly mean nothing to these people. I was left scrambling to find another accredited veterinarian to see my cat in time to meet the government requirements and keep my appointment set with the USDA office in Lansing, which I also booked a month in advance, you know like an adult that needs to get things done. If I could give this office negative stars I would. They caused undue stress in a time when I’m planning a permanent international move, so it’s not like I could just leave my cat with someone here if her paperwork had issues. Point is, don’t trust them to keep an important appointment. Should have known by the 3.7 star rating in the first place. 👎🏻👎🏻
