My family and I are extremely satisfied with the overall service of Gaby Popper Montreal Dog Training. Ailee (8 month Labrador) came back home happy, fit, healthy and smelling great. I am beyond satisfied with the work that has been put in to Ailee. She is amazing on leash now. You get allocated time with Gaby for the hand-over session to inform us the ways to further maintain what your pups have learnt. That was extremely helpful and Gaby was extremely patient. Even after Ailee's program, we were told by Gaby to call up or email them if we have any issues, which was comforting and reassuring . Mr Popper has shown absolute patience which really reassured my family and i, that Ailee were in good hands of professionals. His email responses were prompt and speedy, demonstrating knowledge and absolute professionalism. Gaby Popper Dog Training School was responsive and answered all my queries. Even providing a photograph of Ailee, while she was training. Which was so sweet and comforting. I definitely recommend this Montreal Dog Training School to anyone who is looking for professionals, who are patient and understanding, to train their dogs.We definitely would love to come back for refreshers and to board when we go away.As Gaby said and affirmed, dog training is not only for the dog, it is also for the owner. We have to do our homework and practice with our dog so there can be long term results. Thanks again Gaby, I highly recommend.

Our experience with Gaby is and has been extremely professional and most enjoyable. Gaby's kind manner and up to date training knowledge has made both our training sessions and boarding experiences productive, effective and most importantly our dog loves the time spent with Gaby. The positive, humane methods that he employs as the basis of his training is brilliant, fun and entirely effective, eliciting amazing changes in behavior in a very short period of time. We are typically very cautious of others taking care of our dogs, but we immediately felt total confidence in Gaby Popper Dog training Montreal School to both train and board our precious "Leon". From the many photos and videos shared with us during our dog’s stay, it was very evident Gaby and his dog training school went above and beyond the normal care. Gaby is the perfect choice for any dog care and we highly recommend his services. Matthieu, Lucie and “Leon”, the Portuguese Water Dog! PS. As Gaby taught us, we had to do the training 'homework' with our dog, so he can get used to the routine! Best advice ever.

Gaby Popper was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad that he was. Our beautiful groodle Frankie was becoming a real handful to manage with a toddler in the house as well. We called Gaby as Frankie was jumping, barking, always over excited and pulling on the lead as well as being too boisterous with our daughter. Mr Popper has a firm style of training that Frankie immediately responded to and her behaviour is continuing to improve every day. Frankie now listens to my commands, is respectful of my space and no longer barks excessively. Frankie also no longer chases our cat and they are happily co existing, even being affectionate to each other which we have never seen from them before! Gaby Popper Dog Training Montreal gave me the confidence and the tools to be able to continue training and as a result we have a content dog and a peaceful household once again. Gaby Popper has a strong bond with dogs and knows their behavior patterns extremely well. It was very insightful training and I have learned a lot about my dog, not only how to handle her but also how to keep her happy and relaxed. Gaby has made a huge positive impact on our family and home life and I can not recommend her enough. Mr Popper was clear that if we want our dog's behavior to change, we had to do our homework, practice with our dog so it can become a routine for him and for us. There are not magical tricks that will assure that a dog is going to change his/her behavior in just hours. Its matter of time and a lot of dog owners only want immediate results. The time that we shared with Mr Popper during his classes was valuable but most important it was the time that we spend with Frankie practicing his homework. Thanks again Gaby Popper Dog Training School Montreal!

I originally had a really bad experience with a Dog Training Academy so I was very hesitant to spend more money on another dog trainer, but I had just adopted a middle age Husky (her name is Abby) from the pound that suffered from severe leash aggression towards other dogs. She would also get crazy and start barking frantically at EVERYTHING when I took her in the car with me or if I took her in the elevator. So I felt like I had no choice and really needed help to deal with the situation so I decided to take a chance and did my homework and found Gaby’s Dog Training School. I am so glad that I took another chance because Gaby is absolutely WONDERFUL. He was very patient, listened to my concerns, and helped me understand how to deal with my dog’s issue. Now, this isn’t like what you see on TV where the dog is cured from their aggression, anxiety, fear, etc, in just half an hour. As the pet owner, you really need to put in the extra work as well and Gaby was instrumental in not only helping me understand my dog’s behavior but how to react and address it when I’m out on a walk with my Abby. My dog has made HUGE improvements. Even though she still barks at other dogs, she calms down a lot quicker now where before she would go into such a major frenzy that most of the time, I would need to carry her back home immediately because continuing with the walk was virtually impossible. Now we can go to dog parks, even though we only spend about 10-15 mins there, she’s learning how to socialize with other dogs, where before I couldn’t even take her near a dog park because she would attack the first dog she saw. Gaby explained that her aggression really came from fear – fear of being attacked by another dog, so my dog would become very aggressive to try and scare or ward off the other dog in fear that it would attack her first (fight or flight). The same would happen in the car and elevator. She felt “contained” and felt she had nowhere to escape if a dog were to come at her. This was all making perfect sense to me and it really helped me in being patient and working with my dog to help with her fear. Also, when I adopted my dog, I realized that she knew absolutely NO commands. Not even sit. So Gaby also helped me with teaching my dog how to sit, lie down, wait/stay. Abby now knows all the commands very well and her anxiety/fear has really diminished in the last several months. Gaby's Dog Training is the place to go if you’re looking for a professional dog trainer. Thanks Gaby, you are the the best! You had helped us a lot.

I found Gaby Popper Montreal Dog Training through Google and it has been the best find. I am a first-time dog owner with a 9 month old puppy, and it has been a wonderful experience learning from Gaby's positive and holistic approach to training. He has quickly formed a happy, well adjusted and obedient dog. I have greatly appreciated Gaby's lessons in public places like Home Depot and Montreal Park's to work on obedience in the face of distractions while simultaneously socializing the dog. In addition to the training, Gaby encourages brain stimulating dog toys and games to teach problem solving. Importantly, he recommended a harness purchase that immediately transformed the dog's on-leash heeling. Moreover, Gaby has provided me some great reading suggestions and given me lessons on how to care for my dog like showing me how to clean his ears to protect him from ear infections after swimming and cut his toenails to prevent functional problems. Finally, his group lessons are extremely well thought out, fun, and a great chance to meet other like-minded dog owners. In summary, if you are reading this, hire Gaby to train your dog (and you too!). With Gaby you will learn that its not only the dog that needs training but also the owner. Its a mutual job. All the best Gaby. Keep doing a great job.
