Great hotel with friendly staff. Really enjoyed our stay. Loved the roof top gardens. Nice place to relax and enjoy some wine after a day of site seeing. Rooms where clean with modern up to date style. House keeping did a great job. Close to old city. Cab ride was easy and quick. Train station is across the street with many cafes and markets so picking up a snack and a bottle of wine is super easy. For the price and location this is hard to beat.

This is an excellent hotel. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff are just great, super nice and accommodating. I love the rooftop pool and jacuzzi, and they've added a welcomed outdoor bar and patio area. There are several cozy corners in and around the hotel to find your zen. Very kid friendly place. The food is also very good and the spa services are great! I've tried other hotels but this one is definitely my staple when I visit Montreal. ❤

We stayed 5 days in this beautiful city and wonderful hotel. My children loved the pool and restaurant. The room was very comfortable and staff were friendly and accommodating. We will certainly be back!! The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is because we felt the hotel in general was slightly understaffed. The busy pool had only 2 wait staff and there was only 1 concierge, and our dinner in the hotel, while really delicious, took a long time at an off hour. Just something to consider.

Hotel is not maintained very well. The rooms are warm, and there is no temperature control. We saw some stairs that was missing a plastic part, just taped together with duct tape. The pool was nice to look at, but didn’t seem very clean, and not maintained very well. The restaurant service was awful - took over an hour to get our food, and the place wasn’t even crowded. While we were there, some sort of construction was taking place, and it was so loud - on a Sunday and Monday holiday. Looks like major renovations to the business side of the building. The upside is the location - great location in downtown. However, there are other options in the area, so don’t think this is your only choice.

High atop the deceptively fortress-like Place Bonaventure lies this masterpiece of mod 60s hotel design, surrounding a sprawling rooftop courtyard with meandering footpaths, landscaped duck ponds and a year-round heated pool. The rooms are pretty big for downtown Montreal and in great shape. The hotel restaurant has a terrific breakfast buffet, and the convention center beneath it connects directly to the Metro and underground city.
