The doctors are professional and seem thorough but some of the receptionists could use more training.

Has been my family's optometrist since 2002. As we have moved around the province we have tried others, but just ended up going back to see Dr. McCormack. He is also who I recommend that my patients go and see if they want a second opinion (and we live 3-hours away from his office). Thanks for the great service! Dr. Lee Jones, MD, CCFP

the doctor and staff were nice enough, but their practice is just horrible. i went to get an eye exam and was planning on buying glasses either there or online, but after i tried on a few pairs, i was told it woudl cost 240$ for the lenses ALONE. along with some "cheap" frames, a single pair of glasses was already nearing 500$. so i decided to go home and take a look online for more options. i found some good deals, and i was filling out my info to get them done, i noticed that they left off a number on my prescription, which turned out to be a very important number- the "PD". no big deal, maybe they forgot to write it down, so i called them back and told them i had just gotten my eyes checked, but i was missing the "PD" on my prescription, and if they had it on my file(i thought it was an honest mistake that it was left off the paper they gave me). however, i was told you HAVE to buy glasses from them in order to get that number. wait, what? i have to spend almost 500$ on a single pair of glasses to get information that's standard everywhere else? not only that, but they charge about 20$ more than the average eye doctor for the eye exam, so you're getting ripped off in so many ways. bottom line: unless you want to be overcharged for everything, then don't go here! if you're just looking to get an eye exam, please go elsewhere unless you're ok with spending a ridiculous amount of money. i was able to get 2 pairs of glasses, that were better brand on clearly.ca for 300$ TOTAL.

I had a very good experience at McCormack. The receptionist who answered my call was quite helpful, she got me in for an appointment ASAP, and the doctor who saw me was quite knowledgeable and helpful regarding my particular issue. I would go out of my way to do businesses here.

I've been seeing Dr Nordstrom at McCormack for 7 years. She and this clinic offer the highest level of care. Appointments are quick and easy, and the entire staff is very friendly and welcoming. Will be a customer here for a long time.
