I love Optiks International, Sherwood Park. Michelle and Krystal are super helpful and always go above and beyond to make sure that I get the best product available that works for me. You girls are the best!! Thanks.

I’ve always had a good experience at Optiks. They have a huge selection and you are free to browse with no pressure, although associates are available when needed to offer help or their opinion. I like to browse on my own as I’m indecisive and don’t like pressure from sales associates or someone lingering over my shoulder. I always find great frames and they usually have good deals. I’ve found three pairs of frames here over the past 2-3 years and won’t bother shopping anywhere else! Thanks to the staff at optiks for their kindness and good service!

I had decided that i wasn't going to do a review up until today....i am not impressed at all.  After ordering my sons 2 glasses came in a few days but my daughters frames took 3 weeks.  When i called to see what was taking so long they just said "i don't know but we are watching for them".  I asked if there was anything they could do to get them quicker and they said they can call around to see if they can find them at a different location.   They called me back and said they could get them transferred from South common and they'd be at their store in about 3 days.  I asked if i could go pick them up and bring them to them for them to put the lenses in sooner and was told yes.  So i drove to the South Common location that day and dropped them off the next morning right when they opened and they said they might get them done. Maybe today....possibly tomorrow....but no guarantee.  Really?  They said they were really busy getting other peoples glasses ready. I asked of those other people had been waiting for 3 weeks for their glasses.  SOOOOO....that brings us to today.   My son wore his extra pair with transition lenses out this morning and only 1 of the lenses tints.  Seriously?  I am so frustrated.  Now i am questioning if they even got the prescriptions right too?  I am so not impressed. Waiting to call in when they open to see what they will do for me.

I just left this location without purchasing anything as the service was horrible. I was acknowledged when I entered the store, but was offered no assistance after looking for about 20 minutes. When I did finally find two pairs of frames that I wanted to purchase, I went to the front of the store to find an associate and was ignored by the gentlemen behind the desk for another 5-10 minutes while he looked at me a few times and proceeded to do something else. When I thought I was finally being helped, he was actually speaking to the lady behind me who had just walked in! When being helped, he looked at the frames I had chosen (they were two pairs from in the centre) and said “Oh, I’ll see if I can do the two fro one deal on these. I’m not sure as they’re both from the centre racks”, followed by “And now I suppose you’ll be wanting to use a Groupon for this as well,” and “You should only be using the high index lenses with your prescription, but I guess you’ll be wanting the prices for both.” I didn’t realize that providing quotes for the differences in lenses was also an inconvenience. I have never been more dissatisfied and made to feel like an inconvenience as a consumer as I did this afternoon. I will not be going back to this location and may even let my Groupon expire.

I recently visited Optiks Int'l after hearing ad on radio, I must say that I was very impressed with the selection and staff. Firstly, I was able to get an onsite eye exam, which very thorough and informative. Secondly, the help I received from staff on my eyeglass selection was ecceptional. I was given honest feedback on my selection as I was by myself. Krystal was exceptionally friendly, helpful and thoughtful who went above and beyond in her service and commitment to me, the customer. I have now decided that this is my new goto location for all my eyewear needs. Goodbye Lenscrafters
