As long as the process is easy, they are good. But when they had to put some work into our billing process... not so much. My youngest stepson was there for a check up, no issues, the staff was friendly; his appt covered by AB Health. Our previous visits had also gone well. Again, covered by AB Health. However, when my oldest SS had his visit today, (now over 18 and a student) they had issues with billing our insurance plans (4 to choose from) and just gave him the bill. When I called them and asked them to review, they suddenly found a way to charge one plan... and when we hung up my stepson watched the receptionist I was speaking to, Madison, look at her co worker, roll her eyes, and say "UGH, seriously". I guess helping process paid for insurance plans is too much work for them. We will def not go back!

Love the way that they treated me. Very professional staff and doctors. Would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in a great check up or replacement of glasses Give them a call.

Dr Gill is wonderful. She is so good with my kids and has gotten us in same day when emergency eye situations have happened. There is no pressure to purchase eye wear through FYI which is super refreshing.

The doctor that I have seen is informative, knowledgeable and very good. When it comes to purchasing both lenses for an existing pair of glasses as well as contact lenses, I was truly disappointed. First of all, it took two tries to get the right lenses for the glasses in, and then when they were in, I only found out about it because I called them. Then, on the topic of contact lenses, I was made to feel like a criminal because the optician told me that online purchases are illegal. I contacted the Alberta Association of Optometrists, who told me that it was in fact not illegal. I think the best resolution is to find a new place to go that will be better rated and offer price matching. Those places exist :)
