I have to say that I was extremely disappointed with my experience at Lake Country Optometry. I do admit that I was late for my appointment by 5-10mins. With the traffic coming from Kelowna into Lake Country and the construction I did not anticipate the longer driving time... However, my appointment was rushed through and Dr. Friessen completely dismissed all of my questions and concerns including getting my contact fitting. No family history was inquired about, my main concern for my visit was my vision with my contacts NOT glasses, and she lacked empathy or any real concern for my needs as a patient. I would have rather completely rescheduled my appointment rather than breaking it up into two separate fittings and getting charged extra for the services. I understood that my lateness could impact the appointment and I offered to reschedule over the phone but I was assured that we could "figure something out". I was thinking ok, that's very accommodatable, I didn't think they would only do HALF of the appointment.... It was a very poor first customer experience and I do hope that the clients who are actually treated here receive a much better experience than I did.
