Dr. Dodds has my highest respect and trust, been with her since she had her own independent practice on 8th Ave and will continue to support her.
However, the City Focus Store has disappointed me now twice by delivering sub par lens products but promoting and charging for top of the line. What I received from their lab was not what was ordered and promoted. First time it was so obvious, that the CSR sent them back for exchange. This year, they could/would not verify the delivered product in the store and acknowledged that they are at the mercy of their lab. Having lost faith, I ordered the identical item somewhere else and proofed to them the difference. Which was very obvious and a refund was issued. The whole hassle and the thought that a less discriminating customer could believe or be convinced that he got what he paid for is of concern and saddening. The staff is very helpful and friendly. That just does not make up for the lesser quality item, poor workmanship or shortcuts their lab takes.
I can't believe the difference between the 2 orders and how well the other ones work in comparison. That's why I write this review. It's night and day.
