Been a patient of Dr. McIvor for roughly 8 years now and he's the only one I would go to for eye exams, prescriptions for lenses, and anything else regarding my eyes. Very friendly, professional, and courteous. Great with my kids whenever I have brought them along. And always takes the time to address any concerns or issues I may have. The staff at the clinic are top-notch as well. Excellent customer service!

I've been going to Dr. McIvor for years now. He's very thorough and as someone who has a prescription of over -14 in each eye, I know how important that it. I also bring my son to him and he's always been great with my wiggly kiddo. Will continue to go to him for my yearly check up!

I've been going to Dr. McIvor for several years now and he is fantastic. He's very professional and I've never had an issue. I've even recommended him to several friends who have also had great experiences.

We went to Urban Optique at the Market Mall Professional building. The staffs overall were friendly. However, Dr. Nevin Mclvor was unprofessional and extremely impatient with my son. We went there for my daughter, my son and my eye exams with Dr. Mclvor. It was a Saturday and he seemed impatient. He told my son to come back because he suspected some potential issues. But he was "too busy" that day so he told us to come back in two weeks. Two weeks after, we came back. Our appointment time was at 3pm on a weekday. We arrived at 2:55pm. My son waited patiently. After 25 mins of wait time, I finally came to the admin lady. She told us he should be finishing pretty soon. So he finally got out of the room, and let us in. After a few mins, he said to us that he can't see us because he is too busy and our appointment might take a while. (He seemed very impatient and rude when he kicked us out of the room). I asked him why, and he said that there is a lazy waiting and her appointment is supposed to be at 2:40. However, when we got to the waiting room at 2:55pm, she wasn't even there. This means that she is late for her appointment. I explained this to him and he said it doesn't matter. And said to me that if we don't want to wait, we have to come back....In any practice if someone is late for her appointment then she should wait, especially Dr. Mclvor already let us go into his room. Also please keep in mind that my son is only 2 1/2 years old and he already waited for almost half an hour...On top of that, I had to hire a baby sitter for my daughter because Dr. Mclvor told us to come back during weekdays. I was surprised how unprofessional he is. For anyone who has kids, I would not recommend Dr. Mclvor. He is impatient, and unprofessional. He wasn't even willing to answer my questions. It is a shame that Urban Optique has optometrist like him...
