Awesome got my glasses and contacts here no problems direct billing

Nov 23, 2017
Just called here and asked if they do direct billing through my insurance company. They said yes but it will take some time. Then I asked how long to get glasses done through them, they said up to a week. But they also said they will not release the glasses until they get paid through the insurance company. I thought to myself this eyeglass company does not trust the insurance company whom I deal with which are one of the top in all Alberta. On second thought I will take my eyeglass shopping elsewhere. What a disappointment!

Booked an appointment. They asked me to wait in the waiting room for 50 minutes after my supposed appointment time without coming and telling me anything. When I first all had my exam, the Dr repeated the same questions 3 several times throughout the conversation. Granted, everyone has off days, but nonetheless if you're having an eye exam and your answers to questions about past medical history aren't being listened to, it makes a person question whether or not a perscription is well informed or not. Furthermore, during the "lens A or B" process, while I was deciding between two lenses or asking to see the first (because if our get an eye exam once every two years you want to get it right), she would skip to the next lens set with somehow not having me answer which of the two lenses was clearer. Overall, I wouldn't recommend going here. The Dr was pleasant but I'd take someone who takes an eye exam seriously and didn't rush, but was a curmudgeon, over my experience at the Optical Shop

Terrible experience! This optical shop committed an INSURANCE FRAUD and stated that every customer has to pay for something for every visit. DON'T COME TO THIS SHOP!!!
