DR Bozdech had the worst experience with me in his clinic during my last visit. He lacks manners, is condescending, diminishes, and, his comments are hurtful. He says these comments with a sarcastic smile on his face, especially if the patient is a woman. . Regardless of whether he is a good doctor, he has no right to treat patients this way. As a child, I wonder what did your mother do to you that led you to be this way with female patients.

My experience with Dr. Bozdech and his staff has been nothing but professional. The staff, from office to surgical were excellent. Dr. Bozdech is extremely busy, but that does not mean he will not answer questions. He is an excellent surgeon and that really is my only concern. I'm not sure why there are negative reviews. I found my experience to be just fine. Dwayne Brown

The other reviews are accurate but just to clarify. They don't even allow family, caretakers, or other essential ride persons in the WAITING room. You have to wait outside the building completely. It doesn't matter if the patient is disabled or incapable of speaking for themselves. I'm not sure what happened, but there was a waiting room full of people, I overheard one of the other patients ask the front desk if they were going to be seen soon as their appointment was a hour ago and the front desk said he was just on a break. Well, he didn't come back until 20 mins to closing and spent about 1 minute with everyone who had afternoon appointments. If you are looking for ACTUAL care and treatment. Ask your doctor for a referral somewhere else, you won't get it here.

Long story short, I had a small bit of tissue in my eye that needed to be removed...the thought of anything going near my eye had me terrified for weeks, and reading other reviews on here didn't help. I have to say, my experience was nothing but positive. I didn't experience any unprofessionalism or rudeness that some of the other reviews mention. Yes, Dr. Bozdech and his. team are direct, but also efficient - so if you're going there to talk about the family dog, that's probably not going to happen. I felt reassured and put at ease throughout the whole procedure and one day later, my eye has already healed nicely. Thank you Dr. Bozdech and the team for making a dreaded experience pleasant (or as pleasant as it can be when you have sharp objects coming for your eye).

Complete jerk! Stay away from this hack. Never in my life have I experienced such an unprofessional and unqualified doctor. Never have I had a doctor call and yell at me on the phone for no reason at all. I recommend the Alberta Retina Centre in Edmonton- well worth the trip if you live in central Alberta. Do us all a favour and retire Mr. B. I will look further into reporting him to the appropriate person/place for his misconduct. Zero stars for a zero doctor!

Dr. Bozdech is the worst doctor I have ever met. He is rude, self riotous, refuses to properly answer questions and is a bully. If you have an elderly family member going here, do not let them go alone.
