Image Optometry

In this day and age it is very hard to find businesses who go the extra mile for their patients/customers. I find that this location does that and I couldn't be happier! The front staff have a great sense of humour and take the time to answer all our questions and help out with our glasses choices. Our most recent visit was great. They were nice enough to fit in myself and our two kids for exams. The eye Dr. was very patient and thorough and even found the time to answer my older child's questions about various machines etc. When it came time for my exam, he noticed some things and did more testing and referred me to an ophthalmologist to be on the safe side. Other optometrists I have visited in the past do a cursory check and shoo you out the door, so I am very grateful for the time and concern, this office shows. Usually the front end staff are a reflection of the Drs and it is true in this case. They are all friendly and care about their patients/customers. They have an amazing selection of eye-wear and their prices are very competitive from what I have seen at other stores. Heck, even their "cheaper rack" are nice styles. You know the rack I'm talking about, most stores selections look like 1970's rejects. I read all of the other reviews here and was surprised at the extremely negative ones. I also noticed that whenever Image Optometry replied back, some would reprimand them for doing so. This is a business, and as most business do, they rely on repeat customers and word of mouth, so I think it is their right to be able to defend themselves on a review forum. If you do not agree you are free to go elsewhere, but I'm telling you, you will not find a nicer bunch of staff nor a greater selection of well-priced eye-wear. Our family will be coming here for as long as we have eyeballs and even our older son who now has his own insurance continues to come here for his optometry needs.

I came in late this evening looking for progressives for my mother. Special thanks to Jas for explaining to me what exactly progressives are. She told me about the deals and wrote down all the details for me to take home. I’ll be bringing the rest of my family here because of this friendly and welcoming service.

Phoned today to see if they could help me with new glasses or lenses, after the last pair I bought from them broke, and the pair I purchased before that had an outdated prescription in them. I thought they would be willing or able to work something out, I guess I was mistaken. When I asked if I would be using another Image store to help me, I explained that no, I likely wouldn't be and I'd be going else where because I was very disappointed they didn't seem to care about customer loyalty (almost 10 years), she said "That's fine!". ** Update: Spoke with a manager after posting this who was willing to work something out with me (wonderful!) She actually replaced my glass for me (amazing!), and when I went to book an appointment for my son they informed me they were no longer doing business with me because of "policy". Yet failed to tell me why or what "policy". Went from disappointed to disgusted. Very passive aggressive way of handling whatever issue had arisen. ** update after accusation of "review extortion"... I tried every avenue to contact anyone higher up the management food chain to work out some sort of arrangement out, including contacting head office, etc. All of this could have been avoided had someone at any point had taken action in the situation. It's sad that again a passive aggressive way was taken to dealing with a situation instead of simply speaking with me to discuss and explain.

Great service from the whole staff, very knowledgeable and professional. We walked in and got helped with glasses right away and had the glasses within an hour. Can’t beat that service! Special thanks to Dr. Macario for the very thorough eye exam.

Fast and efficient service from the receptionists. Dr. Bradley was very knowledgeable and thorough with my eye examination. Whole thing took about 20 minutes. Special thanks to Holly who was very courteous and patient as I selected my new pair of glasses (they had the style I preferred, which was awesome). She made the purchase process clear and concise. Thanks again! :)
