Amazing advice... I ended up with superb Nikon lenses in great frames which are vastly superior to the Box store glasses that I had the misfortune of purchasing a few years ago...I have recommended this shop to friends and will continue to go to them for my eye care needs .bob A

I have been a client at Courtenay Iris for well over a decade now and I cannot recommend them enough! I walk into the store and am instantaneously greeted with smiles and welcomes. I always feel comfortable inquiring further about my eye health, different types of glasses, and contact lenses. I can say without a doubt that the optomitrist is my favourite type of doctor! I always leave Iris with a smile both in my teeth and in my eyes! Thank you to all the wonderful staff who continuously make my visits here such a positive experience.

The optometrist was very good, but I won't be going back. Why? Because I walked in to ask about getting new nosepads on my glasses purchased online. The person behind the counter told me that they didn't repair anything but their own glasses, then hemmed and hawed and said she could look at them if I signed a release form absolving them of all responsibility if the glasses were broken during repair. When I declined their services, she told me that no opticians in the Comox Valley would repair glasses if they weren't originally sold by them. As I discovered at VisionWorks, this was simply not true. Not a good way to encourage customers, Iris!

Very prompt, professional and thorough. I will definitely be going back.

Dr. Bunn was fantastic. Dealt with both the Courtenay, and Nanaimo Locations. Wonderful and very knowledgeable staff! Would highly recommend! You get so much value for your money in the products and tests/examinations they perform! I feel very confident that my eyewear options were explained to me in great detail and that my glasses were fit properly for my individual facial structure and my personal needs.
