Nice Staff. I got my eyes checked here. However, when I got my new glasses, I was taken aback because it made me dizzy. No matter how long I wore it (first 3-4 months) my eyes could not get used to it. I went to see my old optometrist doctor. He performed a more thorough examination and he listened to my concerns more than Dr. Rai. He also found that the prescription Dr. Rai gave me was almost half of what I need. I've been using the glasses for almost a month with the wrong prescription. I'm really disappointed.

Although they usually seem run behind schedule, the staff and doctors at the clinic are really good and thorough and are worth it.

I have never posted any kind of review before but having placed another order for contacts at my current clinic has yet again reminded me of this terrible experience. I started with this clinic when I first moved to the Vancouver area and they initially provided exceptional service. Unfortunately as years passed this changed. I recommended them to my sister and she had an awful experience with them too as they sold contacts to her on a rebate promotion which she did not receive and later had to fight for (she usually doesn't buy into these kind of deals but she was an undergrad then). When I had an eye infection I needed to see an optometrist twice before they took me seriously and then frantically prescribed me antibiotic eyedrops. The first appointment he simply checked my prescription and told me to change contact solution, after I repeated multiple times something was not right with my eyes. Lastly, when I changed clinics, I discovered that I was charged $60 more for the exact same contact brand and prescription... this went on for 5 years, twice a year. Our experience may be atypical and simply a case where they saw an opportunity to take advantage of naive students. Regardless, be forewarned!
