I would definitely recommend going to Dr. Ruth Lin. My recent appointment progressed very quickly. I was surprised when I needed glasses. However, her team provided me with many great suggestions on what type of glasses that are comfortable to wear and fashionable. They have addressed all my concerns and questions regarding fitment and lens profile before I purchased it. Furthermore, her team was very friendly towards me.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever received. No one can keep their story straight and they all lie through their teeth. I went in for a scheduled eye exam and the machines were never cleaned. They examine about 3-4 people at once so itâ€™s like musical chairs as they only have one exam room. Expect to waste a few hours waiting around with no explanation given. After the exam was done they made it sound like my prescription was in dire need of a change and convinced me to buy glasses from them. I did and I regret it so much. They told me they would help me select the thinnest lenses and that if it doesnâ€™t work out within 7 days I could come back to exchange or return them. Well that was a big fat lie. I went back a few days later as the frames were too heavy and giving me a headache. They told me they are unable to return them but I could exchange them for a smaller pair of frames but I would have to pay the difference! What?! This was never explained to me and suddenly there are more options for even thinner frames but that would cost another $600? When I first asked about all this, they never gave me these options and told me that the pricing was about the same, so again with the lies. Every time I asked a question they would have to disappear into the back room and discuss for 5-10 minutes. They couldnâ€™t give me an upfront answer to simple questions regarding refund policies. They made up an answer based on the person asking them. No transparency or integrity at all. A waste of time and money. Also you have to fight to get your prescription printed out even though BC law states that these should be given to patients automatically requested or not. So another fail on their part, as they just want you to buy from them. TLDR; donâ€™t waste your time here and just stay away from this dump.
