Not impressed with the staff here. Every time I call I get put on hold for ten mins. The girls at the front are not very pleasant and are often downright rude. When I called, the girl answering just said "hello" (not hello, doctor wong's office or something similar) so I thought I had the wrong number. When I said "umm.. I think I have the wrong number i'm looking for dr wong" She said "no, that's us. What's your name, what your birthday, what's your phone number....." She didn't even ask why I was calling, she just started asking all these personal questions. Maybe I was calling to see what time they open. Maybe I was calling to see what their fee was. Why do they need to request all that info when they answer the phone before I even say why i'm calling? Anyways after getting all my info she said she'd call me back. Why do they need to call back? Can't they just look in their book and put me down? So I got a call back a few hours later. I was able to get in quickly, they put me down for the following day. My appt was at 2pm. I got in at 3:30. Now since they are located in the mall if they had just said we are and HOUR AND A HALF BEHIND I would've went shopping. But they said it'll be a few minutes. Every time I asked I was told ten more mins. I was also constantly told I was next. The woman beside me was getting fed up and went to ask how long and she was told "don't worry you're next". So we're both next? Nope, the woman across from me with 3 kids was called in next. When I was asked if I had been there before I explained that I wasn't sure because I'm in my 40s and don't remember the locations I've been to. So she handed me a new patient form and asked me to fill out all the info. You know what would've been nice? if she had said ok let me check the records and see if we have you on file or not. I said I MAY have been there before. Is it that hard to check the computer? I work in a pharmacy, I constantly have patients that are unsure if they've been to my pharmacy. I look them up to check first instead of starting a new file for each one. There was about ten people in the cramped tiny waiting room and only about 5 or 6 chairs. When I finally got in I spent about 5 mins with the dr. He didn't ask any questions or really do much besides the standard "which one is clearer 1 or 2, 2 or 3, 3 or 4. ok done". The eye doctor at Costco usually spends 30 mins with me and asks a ton of questions and has a variety of different machines he uses to test everything. He had the same "I don't give a sh*t" attitude that his staff had. I will never go back. I'd appreciate the courtesy of being told when the doctor is over an hour behind! That was just ridiculous.
