First of all, the Optometrist conducted my eye examination was extremely professional and friendly. Would recommend her to anyone. However, the exam room was short and they use a mirror to achieve the distance required for the eye exam. I don't think this would accommodate any person over 180 cm tall because you have to slouch and put your neck at a bad angle to look through the examination lenses. Now on to ordering glasses: I had heard from one co worker and one friend that purchasing eye wear can be very slow and they make lots of mistakes. A little over ten weeks ago, I picked out a pair of sunglasses (then purchased them a week later on 2019 Mar 21) and I still do not have them due to a few mistakes and what seems to be a very long turn around time to get lenses made. One of the mistakes was with the lenses that caused me to feel nauseous, unsteady, and affected my depth perception. Even after taking them off and switching back to my regular glasses, I would have nausea and a headache for the rest of the day. I also tripped constantly while wearing them fell up two sidewalk curbs. The employee assured me that I just had to get used to them. I tried for about a week and only the nausea improved slightly. The front end staff have been mostly friendly. However, I normally go into the store on my lunch break and on two occasions, I have heard the front end staff complaining about the volume of customers that come in at lunch time. This did not make me feel like the employees were actually interested in assisting me. I get it, everyone needs to vent and gets frustrated at work sometimes, but at least save it for the back room or after hours. I would recommend anyone to go elsewhere to purchase eyeglasses. I may continue to have my eyes examined here. Update: Thank you to the owners for the reply. I did recieve my glasses a while ago noticed that they changed the frame colors out for a slightly different one. It wasn't big enough of a deal to go through the process again though. I have also heard from a co workers partner that she is going through a similar process with lots of mistakes. To reiterate again, there are three other people that I have talked to about this store has had a similar experience to mine.

Have been seeing Dr. Ferron for years and just had an appointment with Dr. Paroo. Awesome doctors! Great service from the team, especially Kathy who helped me, as well.

Superior service. Always got a call back with a great attitude. All staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Dr Paroo provided a very professional and thorough exam and gave excellent advice and care to all my family members.

This is my first time using FYI. The service was great the lady helped me right away to pick out and buy glasses. However, come say of pick up I was asked to wait, then a lady walked past me to help another person while saying sorry someone will be here soon my girls are on break. Finished with the other person and walked away to another computer, while I sat. I finally said I don’t have time to wait until lunch is over to get help, left without getting fitted or checked. Very disappointed.
