They're perfectly nice, but nice is not necessarily synonymous with knowledgable/capable. Dr Meek criticized me for having eyelash extensions (as he did for another reviewer below) and when I told him one particular brand does not work for me, he asked if I'd ever worn contacts before (as if there is only one contact brand on the planet). I've been wearing them for 14 years and I know what my eyes like and do not like. I would not recommend them.

Great Doctor, great staff. I have been going here for years. They are very patient when you are trying on the many pairs of glasses they offer. They always follow up when my prescriptions are ready and when I need to be seen for my next eye examine. Never have had any issues with my insurance even when I have had to switch my insurance.

Great doctor and staff. Will recommend.

The eye Dr. is great but the staff was very rude to my wife today while trying to obtain proof of insurance. They claimed to be unable to verify and asked her to call and see if it was still active...once she found out it was still active she called them to let them know and said they needed to call a new number (which she provided). Well, they ended up calling back and stating that it was taking them on a continuous loop and asked her to have her insurance company call them. Once she called the insurance company back they told her that they don't call providers but could get all the info they need on the website. My wife then called the clinic back once more to relay the info and the lady she spoke with became frustrated and told her that we must have provided a wrong number and they had no way to verify insurance. My wife was beside herself and said that nothing has changed with our insurance in 13 years except the administrative offices and that the info she was providing was correct. The employee began to belittle my wife by telling her that she has been contacting other clients who have the same insurance all year and that she hasn't had a problem with it. She then said that if we kept the appointment and came in that we would have to pay 100% of the costs up front...making my wife feel like they didn't believe we had insurance or possibly even the money for the services they provide. **MY WIFE ENDED UP CANCELING THE TWO APPOINTMENTS AND GOING SOMEWHERE ELSE** We have never been treated so unprofessional by any vision clinic before and will never go back to this place. It's sad that a staff member can create such discord for a business.

Don't go here. Just don't. Dr. Meek criticized me for wearing fake eyelashes (perhaps they are not the greatest thing for eyes, but my contacts were the issue, NOT the eyelashes). He also criticized the owner of the company where I work, who is very well-known person in Utah. Sorry, but after two bad experiences, two different times, I think it's time to find a real doctor who cares about my eyes and not what I look like or where I work!
