Appreciate the thorough exams, the kind staff and not being pressured into buying frames. I had such a great experience that I’ve now moved my whole family to Iris. The team told me about protecting my eyes from my computer screen, and taught me about having more than one prescription on one lens... first pair of glasses and I love them.

Twice my husband and I were not quoted extra the costs during our appointments. My husband purchased contacts from this location and they were irritating his eyes, so they said to come in to re-assess and choose another type. We were not told that we would be charged for this since it was a poor fitting of the contacts they recommended, but then charged us a fee after we expressed our concern. They would not refund us. We had a great optometrist In Kelowna who was always honest and up front about pricing, so we expected the same customer care here, but were greatly disappointed.

I recently had an eye exam at this location from Dr. Catchuk and found the whole experience to be very professional and comprehensive. His friendly approach relieved any anxiety I had about the exam. He took his time with the procedure and explained clearly the results and suggested a follow up to a local clinic. I would have no hesitation in recommending the staff at this Iris location and the services of Dr. Catchuk.

Dr. Catchuk is amazing. He spent a lot of extra time trying to fit the perfect contacts for my horrible eyes.

My wife went to place an order for glasses price quoted was over $900 without frames just for lens.. They processed it on our mastercard same day. Disputed charge already Next morning on seeing two other Iris stores closed in Victoria we got curious and read their online reviews and found out they had poor ratings and phoned the Store on View street to cancel my wife's order. The girls said Manager was off and we asked to speak to person in charge ..Scott called back saying he is Regional Manager and we told him we just placed order yesterday please cancel it we need time to think and he argued and argued and said we didn't have facts right my wife concluded conversation by saying to please cancel this order and Instead of more argument she hung up. Then my wife called again to tell Robyn the lady who took her order to cancel and not place order further and Robyn would not cancel the order as she said overnight the order was being processed and that she had no authority to give us the Lab number to cancel this order So we are being pushed in the corner to spend $900 on lens only which we wanted time to think over Very unfair poor customer service and it's like robbing customers even before the order is processed Unhappy frustrated customer Will be reported to BB , local Newspaper And Radio talk show and social media unless customer is satisfied
