From the first time i walked through the doors my experience was amazing. The staff were all very professional, kind and informative. A number had the surgery done and explained what it was like as well as sharing what others had told them. The Dr. tested my eyes and they were appropriate and healthy, and he took the time to explain what he was looking for and why. They were actually excited for me the day i arrived for the surgery. The process was explained to me in a very thorough manner and making me have all the confidence that everyone knew exactly their role and knew it well. The surgeon then went through everything again before i went into the OR. Again, everyone was calm, kind and excited for me. The surgery went exactly how it was explained so there were no surprises. 15 minutes after i walked into the OR i was out in the waiting room able to see already! All my post-op appts were good and the next day i was legally able to drive. There was no real discomfort - absolutely the best thing i have done for myself in a very long time! Thanks to a great team i don't have to wear glasses for the first time in over 40 years ! Thanks everyone at Kelowna Laser Vision! I have referred and will continue to refer to you!

Updated: I had my eyes done (SPK) a month ago. The next day was the clearest I've ever seen. After that it got worse and worse, and my eyes spasmed/twitched for about a week and I had trouble keeping them open. After two weeks my vision was still poor, and we changed the drops to non-preservative. That did seem to help but I still had huge light sensitivity and they would easily get overloaded and I would have to lay down. Reading the computer screen was almost impossible for more than a few minutes. I'm writing this as a warning to be careful when thinking about how much time you'll need off of work. I'm a photographer and this caused some issues. Most people can go back to work in 24-48 hours, and I had thought that would be the case for me too. I want to say that when I talked to Dr. Casey and explained the problems I was still having that he was great. That's why this is a 4 star review. I think that the most important thing was that he clearly cared, he believes in the surgery, and after that I felt like I was in good hands and would be helped through the rest of the process. He prescribed some new treatments and my vision has been steadily improving. It's been a huge relief. -1 star because the recovery has been longer and more complicated than I was prepared for. I take some responsibility for this by thinking the best case scenario and not preparing for the worst. So be careful when planning this surgery. 4 stars because Dr. Casey was great when he realized there was a problem with the recovery, and the rest of my experience with the staff there was good. It's really important to have people who have your back if something does go wrong after you're out the door. This isn't something to cheap out on, and after my experience, I can recommend Kelowna Laser Vision. I hope whoever reads this find my review helpful and best of luck.

My experience with Kelowna Laser Vision was amazing! From the very friendly information call, to the surgery itself, and to the last post surgical check-up, everyone was so friendly and professional. I was never left with an unanswered question and felt like my concerns were a priority. When it came time to have the surgery itself everyone did a great job making sure I felt comfortable and the post-surgery recovery was amazingly short! The little bit of discomfort I did have, was so short lived, I slept through if! My vision quality is amazing and I can not express enough how "worth it" all of it is to me. I absolutely recommend getting your surgery done with this team! You won't regret it.

Everyone at Kelowna laser vision was awesome. They answered all my questions and concerns. Surgery day was a breeze. They talked you through the surgery and put you at ease. I had surgery on Friday was driving on Saturday afternoon after clearance from Dr. and able to go to work on Monday. Best money I have ever spent. My eyes are great no glasses needed. Love it just my sunglasses. Now I can wear any style and fashion and cheap sunglasses and see. I highly recommend getting your surgery today and be set free of fogged up glasses, slipping down your nose from perspiration or just falling off and most off al forgetting were you put them or sitting on them. Thank you everyone at Kelowna Laser Vision for be set free of glasses most of all my eye sight and making it a great experience. Take care and thanks. Lillian Coghill
