I can see clearly now...that I should never have gone there

When a optometrist says things like the pressure in your one eye MAY be a little high...is it or isn't it When an optometrist says things like you MIGHT need some correction for distance...might? Told him I wanted a separate prescription for reading...I have need glasses for reading for years and still use 2.50 from the drugstore...my prescription was only for distance...reading was blank... I can see that going there was a mistake. And as I left he said call me in a week...why? And running down other vision centres is just plain tacky. \ I had to tell him I was diabetic...never asked any medical questions...like does Glaucoma run in the family? Are you on any medication? And when I told him I was diabetic and what medication I was on...he looked at me and said I have never heard of that...its only advertised on TV and everywhere else... Now I get to go pay for another eye exam somewhere else. I would give zero stars if I could.

I went to see Dr. Olin today for an eye exam and to get new glasses. Dr. Olin was very patient and took his time with my eye exam. He also showed me lots of frames, that I was able to try on no problem. I wish I would have came here to get my first pair of glasses! Thank you so much Dr. Olin, you’re the best!

My only regret with this place is that I had not gone there sooner. By far the most professional and extensive personal eye exam I received since my very first exam almost 30 years ago! Dr. Olin took his time to dial in my prescription 100%, something no other practitioner had done before. Always seemed like I was rushed to make room for next patient. For the first time I feel no strain on one or both of my eyes because something is a little bit off. I don’t care that his equipment doesn’t appear to be brand-spanking new. One cannot substitute experience and patience with high tech. Of course a part is attributed to the lens manufacturer. I hope Dr. Olin is still around if and when I need to renew my prescription. Thank you.

I had the pleasure of attending Canada Vision in Steinbach and having an eye exam performed by Dr. Olin. I found him to be very professional and considerate. He was very methodical and precise during the eye exam. As a result I purchased new lenses from his prescription. They are the best eyeglasses I have purchased in many years and my vision is greatly improved. I recommend Dr. Olin highly and am very appreciative of his knowledge and experience. He is a true example of a consummate professional in all regards.

Went here because of the walk-in aspect. What a mistake got my prescription had to ask for it was not given freely on way out. Got my glasses made and they were completely off. Had to go to another optometrist and get a correct prescription. Talked to this on twice about the glasses and was told "I've been doing this for 50 years your eyes need time to adjust." Prescription was wrong and he didn't want to help. Wouldn't even refund my money after I showed him he was wrong. Do not use this hack he will wreck your eyes. I should have read the reviews before going to him.To this stores response: got my glasses from superstore optical paid around $500 for glasses and sunglasses as compared to the $650 they wanted for one pair of glasses. They also fixed my prescription for half price after I told them how things went at this place. They also did not offer another eye exam, the new rx was much different from the original, they did not advise to return. Trust me your better off going else where, cheaper, better equipment, and will also help you out. Glasses I now wear are absolutely fine and I have no problems at all.

Horrible manners. Had a disgusting interaction with who I could only assume is the owner. He came off racist will not be returning.
