I have been seeing Dr Doug Puttaert since I was a child and I would follow him anywhere. He has helped numerous members of my family with different eye concerns over the years and I now trust him with my children's eye health. I have referred many people to him over the years and will keep doing so. The staff at both the Wpg & East St Paul locations are extremely friendly and helpful.

Have been going to ESP eyecare for at least 5 years and they are amazing!!! Dr. Brett gives the most thorough exams and explains all the he's doing. Front line ladies Mary and Kim are very friendly and welcoming and always share a good laugh or 2. My husband and I highly recommend this team to anyone looking for great eye care!

I went for a routine eye check and the staff were so incredibly nice. A lot of places we have been to have such rude uncaring personnel , but not here. We got in to see the Dr. [Puttaert ] who was also extremely nice and we ended up in emergency that evening because he found a problem and I needed to get to emergency quickly. I believe he saved my eye . He sent me to Misericordia Hospital and there we met a lot of really nice people too , who helped us . The Drs ,staff and all were awesome and very professional . The ophthalmologist is very good at what he does and the intern was also . All in all ,we were really impressed . The people who worked at the emergency doors ,to the security and the administration workers were so nice. We never met one nasty person and we would like to thank them all for being so kind to us and because I was really scared they helped me to be calm because of their just professionalism . Thank you all .at Birds Hill Optical and Misericordia Hospital .

Dr. Brett Puttaert is fabulous so is all the other staff at his locations. Any type of eye issues, I recommend the complete team. From getting metal / farm dust in eyes which cause major infection to having problems reading. The team for the glasses is great as they recommended strong sturdy glasses for a rough tumbling son, and better lenses for my daughter for glare from white boards. Better lenses helped to read white board markers that are not as bold of a color.

Dr. Brett Puttaert administered the most thorough eye exam I've ever had! He explained everything in great detail throughout the process and answered all of my questions. Many eye centres are out to sell glasses. This was not the case at all. Great experience and would certainly recommend this optometrist!!
