The most helpful group of professionals around. Was in a difficult situation and they turned it into a pleasant and easy process! Couldn’t be happier!

Denise is the best optician ever. And Dr. Smithson is an “outside the box” optometrist which is what I’ve always liked and needed.

I completely agree with the review below - rude service, incredibly unprofessional staff, and apparently, a widespread habit of adding on charges that are not disclosed at the time of services rendered. I will not be returning. There are plenty of optometrists in the area - do yourself a favor, and find a much more transparent and competent practice.

After reading such nice reviews, I was disappointed in my experience with rude staff. My husband, who is recovering from a sinus infection, had an appointment today for an issue that was concerning enough that he ventured out while still feeling ill. Because the clinic did not have any masks, he covered his mouth with a handkerchief, just in case he coughed. The young tech who did the initial screening was professional and kind. Dr. Bhalani conducted my husband’s exam; I feel confident in his skills, but not in his professionalism. As we were leaving the exam room, he loudly said to my husband, “Try not to like, touch anything, okay?” It was rude and unnecessary, as my husband took great care not to do anything that might spread germs. Then, as we got to the desk to check out, Dr. Bhalani and Jennifer, a receptionist, shared a smirk and glanced at my husband. Dr. Bhalani placed some eye drops that he said were needed on the counter in front of us and explained their use, then left. My husband scheduled a follow-up appointment, and then Jennifer informed us that everything was covered by insurance. When we got to the car, we realized we had forgotten the drops, so I went back to get them. I told Jennifer we forgot them, and she picked up the box from down on her desk. She said they were $8, and I asked why she had not charged us before we left. She did not answer; her attitude continued to go south as she smirked, spoke to me in short, rude, little bursts, and snatched my signed receipt from the counter. Then she sarcastically told me to have a nice day. I don’t doubt the kindness of the remaining staff, but the doctor’s, and especially Jennifer’s, rudeness, mean we will never use this clinic again.
