For years Dr. Khalil recommended I go for a LASIK consult. He was always very honest with me, noting that I may not be a candidate based on the thickness of my cornea but that it was worth exploring. I finally went for the consult, confirmed I was a viable candidate, and proceeded with the surgery. I could not be happier. My vision is better than 20/20 and I have no side effects six months after the surgery. Dr. Khalil has been wonderful to work with for years when I used contacts, and has continued to be great throughout the LASIK process. I would recommend Dr. Khalil to anyone looking for an optometrist.

Dr Khalil was great and I loved that he did all of the tests and explained them to me rather than an assistant. Very happy with the visit

Dr. Khalil is a really nice guy and the glasses I bought work great, however they were unable to fit my contacts. In the process of ordering my contacts, I wasn't notified that my trials had arrived and I waited over two months for the first set. I went through four sets of trials and nearly 7 months since my original appointment and still do not have a comfortable or functional set of contacts

I have been at Dr Khalil office 2 times. you need to be careful about the "extra charges" they don't tell you about. the first time he made picture of my eye and did not let me know that he would be charge me for that. It was only 20$ so I was only a little bit upset because they need to let you know if there are additional costs coming. the second time was at my second appointment. i told him that I am thinking of contact lenses and if this would make sense, because i only need reading glasses. he was so nice and told me I could try them two different lenses for some days and let him know after four days if I would like to go with lenses or glasses. He gave me 3 trial lenses and his assistant showed me (10 minutes max) how to put them in. He charged me 160 $ for that "fitting"..... afterwards, he never mentioned that he would charge me for anything. i said that I am not willing to pay for something that he is going to charge me without giving me the info that he will charge. He said everybody knows that this cost money..... I never tried or asked for lenses before, so it was not aware of. He was not very helpful, he let me pay for it anyway, he waved 60$, so it was only 100$ extra. I think this kind of business-attitude is more like fraud !!!! I am not going there again. I have the old fashion thinking, that I need at least trust my doctors. I never experienced something like this before.

All of my experiences with Dr. Khalil so far have been very positive. He is one of the few honest optometrists out there that genuinely have patients best interests in mind at all times. Most places these days are taking the approach of "fast food eye care" where they just get you in the door and out as soon as possible with little attention to detail because the optometrist doesn't spend quality time with every patient. Not so here. They take all the time they need to ensure all of your needs are met and concerns are addressed.
