My children and myself have been clients for Dr. Ian MacDonald for several years now. My son has an eye condition so he has to go every 6 months. Ian is very friendly and makes my daughter (who has social anxiety) comfortable for all of her appointments. The rest of the staff is friendly too. They do try to up-sell additional services that you can decline, though I do believe it my sons case it's covered (additional services are images of your eye). We don't deal with the people next door so I can't comment on that.

Everyone was so informative and helpful! I got a last minute appointment for my eye issue I was having. I’ve never had glasses before, and being in my 30’s, I was in need of guidance, and that’s what I got. The optometrist and others were all so amazing. I’m so happy that I got to experience this office! I’ll be going back for my bi-annual check ups

Greedy. Only there for the money. If they can’t make enough money from you. They will not see a child with half appointment that will only bring 40$. They want the whole pie of full appointment which is 80$. Cruel practice. Imagine this, that they will be looking after your precious eyes with this business moto. Find a reputable compassionate doctor. Read the other reviews. Seems like they don’t like children. I m certain that’s how Dr Johal trained the staff. Well done Doctor, you took an oath btw. Cambridge eye was closed otherwise they are superior.

I will be removing my family of 5 from this place. Yesterday my daughter and I had an eye exam and Dr. H. Safavian swung from being irritable and condescending following my questions and concerns. He even raised his voice at times but would then attempt to follow up by being sticky sweet. My teenager and I locked eyes as if to say "What the heck is wrong with this guy?" Sensing my frustration as we left the room, he called down the hall at us "So sorry! So sorry!" He clearly knew he was unprofessional and attempted to call out an apology at the end. We were just uncomfortable the entire time and won't be going back.

The Doctor and Staff were great with myself and my 4 kids. They took the time to explain everything that they did. My youngest was very nervous but the office assistant allowed her to watch her older brothers be tested first. This made her very happy. They were also able to get all of us in on short notice. We will definitely be coming back!!
