I’ve been going to see Dr. Uddin for many years now but today was the last time I will be a patient there. The front desk staff are very polite and considerate, but that’s the only positive I have to say. My family and I have all had numerous accounts of them being half an hr + behind in schedule but have been patient enough to return for our next appointments. Today I went for a simple procedure I’ve had done many times before and by the time half an hr mark came and went with no sign of going in I got fed up and proceeded to leave. I’ll never go back, and I suggest if you value your time and appreciate those who feel the same then to not waste it here. Money hungry and ignorant towards their patients time I can tell you I’ll never be back and they have also now lost my other family members as patients as well.

I went in to see Dr Gole for two very specific issues. First issue was a spot shadowing the center of my vision in my right eye and the second issue was a massive floater in my left eye. He did his gamut of tests, and diagnosed both issues. He then proceeded to test my eyesight (I couldn't see much because of the two obstructions) and he tried to sell me the most expensive eyeglasses they have, as well as prescription sunglasses and distance eyeglasses. When I pointed out that my vision problems were not because of my eyesight but because of the obstructions and should I really be looking at getting new eyeglasses, his response was "There's a 30 day return policy so you don't need to worry". Is this the attitude of a professional? My faith in this doctor's intentions is meagre and I will not be returning.

When I first arrived I stood at the counter for 15 minutes before I asked to be accnologed by staff that were busy talking amongst themselves. I went there for a specific treatment but have been jumping though their hoops to get it. $450.00 later I still don't have the treatment I came in for but I do have close up pictures of my eyes (useless) and a bunch of product's I could have got at Shoppers Drug mart for half the price. These guys sell glasses! Don't go there for anything else, they will milk you for every dime you have. I can no longer afford the treatment I went there for, 3 check ups later at $96.00 a pop and a bunch of product's and pictures that I was forced to buy in hopes of getting treatment and I give up:(

Very disappointed, the optometrist was extremely difficult to work with, and I found the staff to be unfriendly. I am a very easy person to get along with and I didn't have any special requirements for my eyes, I was only there for an eye exam; yet they treated me like I was a burden or a chore. The sales person was very pushy when I got out of my exam. Like another reviewer has said, it is very overpriced. I simply could not afford the frames! Yet, the saleswoman kept pushing me and even grabbing my prescription to write down store deals when I clearly was not interested. Would not recommend.

I am from out of province, visiting my mom for christmas, and my glasses broke! I was so stuck and couldn't see a thing. But I had purchased my glasses at FYIdoctors back home. I went to 2 other places, and none of them would help me. Then I came here - they contacted my FYIdoctor back home and found that the draw was under warranty and they figured out a way to help me that truly went ABOVE and BEYOND what was necessary. I thought that I would have to spend the rest of my trip stumbling blind, but they replaced my frames and fixed my glasses in about 10 minutes!!! I must re-iterate that nowhere else was even willing to try and help me! Thank you, Debb - you saved my whole trip!!!!
