I went here after being recommended to do so by my roommate who said they were really good. Very friendly atmosphere. They're keeping everything clean to make sure both staff and customers are safe. Dr. Shuit made sure to answer any questions I had and answered them very well. I really enjoyed that he showed me my old prescription compared to what he recommends for my new prescription!

My Grandparents, parents, and my wife's family have been going here for years. It was great, I had nothing to complain about. Until, I went in for my biennial appointment one day. I'm not sure what happened, but my prescription was way off - not even close. Maybe it was written down incorrectly or something, I'm not sure. I ordered my glasses online and had them re-send me glasses (three times!) thinking it was their fault. I called Vic Park Optometry to see if maybe my prescription was wrong. They said they could take a look, but would have to charge me for another appointment which wouldn't be covered by my benefits package. I decided not to return. Thankfully I have a friend who is an optometrist. She checked my eyes (for free) and yep... The prescription was way off. I have a new optometrist now. To be clear, I don't hate VPO by any means! They were fantastic for the years that I went there. I'm just surprised that after being a regular client they wouldn't take a quick look to see if they had made a mistake.

This is the place to go! Very clean office and I was greeted by super friendly and helpful staff. Dr. Shuit is clearly a master in his trade.
