I thought I'd visit this optician having bought glasses from them before and had pleasant experience with the reception staff. First, the Dr was late in seeing me for about half an hour, he then instilled dilating droplets into my eye with out even telling me what they are or how long they'll last. He just asked look up and started instilling them telling me he's putting droplets while he was doing it. He clinged to the mention of my insurance and asked how much I was qualified for when I said I wasn't sure he has his receptionists call them twice, while I waited, the second time my eye test was done but he didn't give it to me knowing that he can do a retina scan so he can charge the insurance and even me. It is expected that he will want to suck every last cent from me and the insurance but not asking my permission or explaining what the dilating droplets are for and how can they impact my vision until be put them is simply unforgivable, knowing that I'd be driving. He did give me some dark later that goes in the glasses but didn't show me how to use it, it also didn't fit at all in my glasses and made driving home unnecessarily risky. In short, avoid this clinic if possible.

Went there for a simple eye exam and glasses. But after starting the exam, the doctor insisted on another test which wasn't necessary but cost me an extra 50$. I also placed a rush order on my frames I ordered and called back the following week to see the status and the receptionist wasn't very pleasant, maybe because she wasn't getting more money from me. There is much better optometrist in Brampton with lower prices, for frames and prescription glass done on the spot at the best prices, check out Habib Optical on Queen Street.

Avoid. Health providers need to balance the perception of care and profit. My perception of this office is that it cares deeply about profit. I went there once, and as other users reported, I felt pressured into additional tests. Then Dr. Mann tried to sell me contact lenses at a high price. I told him I go to Costco, and he offered match the price after mail-in rebate. We continued to barter and he eventually agreed to match the price before the mail in rebate. His office has been pestering me with appointment reminder calls since. I keep calling and asking to get my name and number removed from the list. I'm on the 3rd call now, hopefully this time it works. BAD!

terrible service arrived with the cornea damaged, when every other medical center was close , it was clear that was due to a accident at home and they force me to do eye exam in both eyes to charge money. and at the end I have to go to emergency. it is a rip-off and in top of that they organize a follow up that I never requested and if i don't cancel the appointment they will charge me again. I fully understand he need to test but it was clear and I mentioned that my cornea was damaged * this is not the first time i had this unpleasant feeling* if you cannot do nothing about it , better to be straight and said go to emergency.

I first met Dr Mann when I had a burn injury to my eye. I had gone to a walk-in clinic, as I couldn't close my eye nor could I see in that one eye. He saw me immediately, treated my eye, saw me for follow ups until my eye was healed. I just returned 3 years later and brought my husband for us both to get regular eye examinations and to get glasses. Yes his office is busy, as he is exteemly popular. He uses the most modern equipment with the most up to date updates on the equipment. Luckily, he is very concerned about your eye health, not just selling eye glasses. He discovered I had Glaucoma and Cateracts since my last visit. Hence why he pushes these extra tests. The girls at the front desk DO tell you about all fees associated with extra all tests if needed. Thank god for the extra tests and for Dr Mann!
