I had excellent experience overall! All of the staff members were very friendly and courteous. Everyone took their time with me during my eye exam and at the time of selecting my glasses and frames. I was extremely happy with the experience at Bramalea Optometry. Dr. J. Gill is very personable, knowledgeable and professional!

The previous 3 reviews are clearly fake. Who writes like that but their own PR? They are now a glasses store first, optometrist second. If you care about your eye health, you should try somewhere else. I have been with the same optometrist, Dr. Colin Braganza for the past 6 years. He's been late for 45-90 minutes every year. They blame it on the patients before me when I used to make Friday night appointments. So I started making first appointment of the day. Yet, he was still 60-90 minutes late for a 10 am appointment. Major time suck. I have complained about double vision at night for years and Colin didn't really have time to address it. He's always 3 patients behind when he arrived so he has to rush me out. And the staff rarely get the files ready before the doctor arrived. For the past 2-3 years, they kept saying they are upgrading their systems so they can't access the files without the IT. They asked me to take retinal scan ($36), to be compared to the previous scans, yet they can't get my old files out to be compared. I made the appointment weeks ago. They should have enough time to get the IT. The following year, I specifically asked that they need to get the old files out when I called for the appointment. I also told them that Colin can't be late again. Yet he was still 90 minutes late and my files were not ready! The staffs are more focus on selling you glasses plans, and imagining. When I switched to another optometrist this year, they are very uncooperative about sending my records over. Took 2 months, 5 phone calls, 3 emails and 2 visits to get just 1/3 of my records. They end up printing out low resolution pictures of the retina scans and fax it to my new doctor. It was just dark circles. When I explain these things to the staff. They don't see why I'm upset. They think I'm healthy and over-reacting. They expect patients to wait for "doctors", and they charge you for pictures. The reception is very annoyed by me because I want my records, that are rightfully mine. It's been 3 months since I asked for my retinal scan, still don't have them. I suggest don't even take them, save yourself $36 and buy glasses online.
