Dr.Tina is good, but if you have staff treats you like you are not needed. They think they are favouring you as if you have no choice. My mom who is 69 years and has no clue of customer service was very unhappy. They really need some etiquette, training on how to talk and behave while at their place or over the phone. I would suggest Dr.Tina to have a friendly staff who can listen and treat people as customers. I moved my family to a different optometrist and we are very happy doing this.

It was a great first visit to the Mavis Burnamthorpe Optometry clinic. We were greeted by cheery staff and Dr. Tina was just fantastic with the kids. She is professional, knowledgeable and very kind. Her warm and caring nature is clearly evident. She does her very best for her patients.

The customer service lady need to be changed ASAP, otherwise Dr. Tina will keep on losing clients. I had 4 pm appointment and was 10 minutes late because of bad weather and with my 2 little girls. Melanie offered to put eye drops in my eyes but customer service lady stopped her by saying she is late . When I told her the reason why I am late , then her reply was “our customers are always on time “ . It sounded like very rude like I m not their customer. She offered next appointment time between 5:15 pm to 5:30 pm. With Little one’s waiting in the car with my husband , it was very hard for me to stay . Even on my past visits , we have seen her very rude with the clients. We heard the same from other clients as well. Dr. Tina ...little bit of advise if you do not want to lose clients ..switch their seats.yes I am talking about Melanie.she has the right attitude to deal with your clients Well then you will start losing client for eye frames / glasses....phew..tough decision to make
