Dr. Salaba is the most amazing Optometrist I have ever been to. He ensures your glasses fit perfectly - the fist time - and taught me how to use contacts properly after I avoided them for 15 years. Truly an amazing clinic and Dr.

My whole family sees Dr. Paul, and we love this doctor! He is knowledgeable, reassuring, and easy to talk to-everything that you want in a health care professional.

Waited over an hour to be seen for my scheduled appointment. Was quoted $160 for an eye exam and my bill ended up being $260 because I was charged for a contact lens exam as well which was not explained to me at the time. I was later told that this was my deposit for a years supply of contact lenses which I really didn't even want to begin with as I only wear contact lenses to work out. I was told that the technology of my current contact lenses was years in the past and that I should be wearing daily contacts instead. I was given a trial pack of contacts which I only wore to work out as I normally do and went back for the recheck without any major concerns as I only wore them for 2-3 hours at a time. I was told that unless I paid for a years supply at that time, my $100 deposit would not be used and that I wouldn't get a rebate. On a camping trip my glasses broke and when I went in to ask if they could fix them I was told there was nothing they could do as they are a boutique optometry clinic and don't deal with the brand I had (fair enough). But since then I have been forced to wear the contacts on a more regular basis because I do not have nor can I afford a new pair of glasses. Now that I am wearing the glasses for more than 2-3 hours a day I realize that after about 3 hours my eyes feel like sandpaper. I emailed to ask about returning these contacts and returning to my old brand and I was told that they would not do this. I am extremely disappointed and will not return. I felt swindled into paying hundreds of dollars and now that there is an issue I will just have to pay more money. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Very poor customer service, long waits and not clear on pricing. ***EDIT*** Wow Advanced Vision, thank you for your super generous offer of having me in for another $260 exam! Your passive aggressive reply’s to your one star reviews are very unprofessional! Have a great day :) :) :)

Wanted to say a big thank-you for taking care of my Dad today! Not enough stars to let prospective customers know the level of professionalism, compassion and attention to detail that the AVE team showed my Dad and myself today! Doctor Brian Paul is an angel sent from Heaven. Thank-you! Fred (Dad) and Tony

What a treat it was to have an eye exam. Not your typical experience. Shocked to learn that each person I met was charming and personable. Any question, answered. Attentive, service oriented.... and honest!!!! Tried on many pairs of glasses while waiting for my eyes to dilate. What a beautiful selection of frames. They are putting in new prescriptions as I type. Can't wait for my glasses back. I can't wait for my 2019 appointment. Dr. Paul and his team just rock!!!! Thank you!!!!
