I Was a former patient of 2 other local optometrist who had no clue I had a corneal disease. I Was referred to Sanger Eye Clinic by a neighbor and I found them extremely friendly and really knowledgeable. They diagnosed and solved my longstanding vision issues in the first appointment and the cost was half the other clinic. I would definitely recommend them. I got my drivers license back and I have them to thank.

This place is fabulous, they are always happy and up beat, and clearly enjoy working in their environment. Dr. Steve Sanger is an amazing optometrist and has helped me through so many different issues with my eyes. Great people who are willing to work with you to find what will best suit your needs. I would, and do recommend this place to anybody who needs glasses, contacts, or are considering laser surgery. Steve is the guy who deals with the laser eye cases that go wrong, so he’s a great and knowledgeable person to ask any questions you have.

Great clinic!

My wife went in to get her eyes checked because her eyesight suddenly changed and could not read anything anymore. When she told the Optometrist that she could see fine one day and could not see the next day he didn't have any advice for her. He had her pay extra for another procedure to inspect the eye but did not tell her to go to her family doctor. All he did was ask her how much money her insurance would pay for her new prescription and frames. They seemed quite happy that it was over $400. She said they were very pushy and only interested in the sale. She went to 3 for 1 on Upper James and when she described what happened to her eyesight the sales person immediately said that she should see her doctor because it sounded like she might have high blood sugar. She went to the doctor and sure enough she had high blood sugar and her eyesight corrected itself when her blood sugar was under control. Our family will not go back to the Sanger Eye Clinic. Too pushy and not very knowledgeable.
