Been going to her for about 15 years and she caught my detached retina and got me into St Mikes within 24 hours where laser surgery saved my sight. I have gone to her every year since for check ups as she has my history for comparison for glaucoma, etc. She is efficient and quick which I like as I don't have a lot of time to spend in doctor's offices.

Out of all the of optometrists I have had over the years she is my favourite. I have referred 2 other people to her and they both loved her as well. She gives you a lot of info, explains things clearly, and is proactive in how she deals with issues. I definitely recommend her.

Dr. Cheema just wrote me the wrong prescription even after a correction by her!!! Within a year, my eyes tell me my prescription still causing eye problems. I have another pair using old prescription and I love this old one although I should not, because my purpose was to get rid of it. I am afraid of wearing this new glasses with the wrong/strange power reading from her prescription! When I have to wear it, I have to take that off for a while routinely. Back to year ago Dr. Cheema wrote me a prescription once, and then she corrected it in my 2nd visit because within a month when I felt very uncomfortable with my new glasses made from it. Then I had to order the 2nd pair from Zeiss but fortunately Zeiss warranted my original order. However, after that I still felt very uncomfortable on the eye because of her mistake. I usually replace lenses in 2+ years but now I have to go over this again as my eyes complains. On that 2nd visit, Dr. Cheema did not thoroughly check both my eyes but just got rid of some cylinder and axis data in a short and quick period. Now I suppose there must be some problem on another eye's prescription as well as it's all different with all my previous eye checks. As her prescription was so strange, and I mailed her all my historical prescriptions twice for her to confirm but she just replied that her check was good and never looked into it. I do not only deem this case as a 'service' issue. It's the mistake out of her core business! Because of this erroneous prescription I have to discard the lenses and still not sure if it has worsen my sight over the year. There is no need to talk anything else if the basic prescription is roughly made without care. I usually do not post reviews but I would like to share this to the public to avoid the same situation that I have been suffered from. I would give Dr Cheema a mark of -5 if it ever existed.

I have been a patient of Dr Cheema for over 5 years and while I agree with other comments that you will most likely have to spend some time waiting for her begin her examination I can tell you that its worth the wait. Dr. Cheema takes as much time as she needs with each of her patients and is not in a rush to get out the door to see the next person. Through careful review she found my late stage keritakonis and was able to ensure that I received the treatments that I needed and continually followed up on my health situation. So, if your appointment is at 4:30, its likely you'll be seen at 4:45, but you'll get Dr. Cheema's full attention while you're with her. She doesn't push her value added services, but suggests them gently when they make sense. Even before my diagnosis, I had been completing regular retina and eye scans. I am moving out of the country soon.and will be sad to not have her as part of my medical care team.

Went here, really didn't have a good time. Been to too many doctors to get my right prescription. Didn't get it here.
