My wife went for a "Comprehensive Eye Exam" and was given the script only to come home and find out there was no P.D. on the script. So when we called for it, they gave us what must of been some obscure P.D. number of 70, because when we ordered glasses from a different place and gave them that P.D. of 70. When my wife got the glasses, she had quite a bit of difficulty seeing through them. Come to find out, her P.D. was 38!!! Now she has to wait so new ones are made!

Friendly and helpful on initial purchase. Good selection of frames, knowledgeable staff. They even called my Opt. to get the correct script for me. The staff promised to call when the glasses were ready but did not meet that commitment. When I picked them up, they broke the frames adjusting for the ear and said they'd call when the replacement frames came in. It took 2+ weeks for the frames to come in and again, I had to call to find out the replacement frames were in. Friendly staff but poor follow up by some of their staff.

This was my first time visiting Pearle Vision, and my entire experience was very good, from the greeting when I first walked in the door all the way through the buying process. I was well overdue for a routine eye exam (it had been at least 3 years), and after having had lasik in 1999 and not needing any corrective lenses since that time, I was not necessarily excited about going since I knew I was due for some sort of corrective lenses. I arrived about 15 minutes early to complete a minimal amount of paperwork and the actual exam began BEFORE my scheduled appointment. I would definitely recommend the Optomap versus dilation---insurance doesn't cover it, but at only $35 it saves from the aggravation of a few hours of discomfort and annoyance that dilation causes. My eye exam was thorough and completed quickly and efficiently. The frame/lense buying experience was also simple and convenient. Prices might have been higher than elsewhere, but from the time I walked in the door until the time I left, it was no more than an hour, so you need to weigh the time cost versus extra cost of shopping around for cheaper lenses/frames. Oh, and I should mention I have BCBS which covered the eye exam (except the $35 Optomap which I voluntarily chose over the dilation) and I received additional discounts off the frames/lenses. Overall, I highly recommend this location for convenience, good customer service, knowledgeable staff, and efficiency.

Just stopped in because the Oakley prescription, progressive glasses I had for only one day, lost the soft piece above the nose on a flight. Even though I got the glasses in Boston and had just flown to Buffalo, Steven at Pearle grabbed a demo frame off the wall and hooked me up in 5 minutes. Very nice job Steven and good support from Pearle.

Currently on hold for minute 20, was in a month ago to get glasses as I am leaving town. they said the frames would be ready within the week. the initial interaction was very pleasent. A month later I still do not have frames. I have called twice prior to today, both times being told the lenses were on back order but should be in within a couple days. Now I can't even get someone to talk to me! This is the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered, and I am from NJ! 25 minutes on hold now...at what point do you hang up and call back??
