I am very.pleased with the quality of service and products they carry. Dr. Prinzen is very knowledgeable and professional and I know that I am receiving the BEST of eye care here. The location in Picton is great as I can shop local. Without question the most competent and professional optometrist I have ever seen.

I have never had a problem here. Everyone who works there is very friendly and it makes you feel good that when you walk in there you are greeted with a smile.

Had a great experience getting fitted for my glasses and a first set of contacts.

First off, context. I've been wearing glasses for the past 20 years. I've worn contacts multiple times and many different brands. While on vacation in beautiful Picton, Ontario, I foolishly lost my glasses to a wave. In hopes to get a pair of sample daily contacts, I contacted Dr. Billi Prinzen's office. First I was told that I would need a copy of my prescription. Ok, I call my optometrists office and have themy fax it over. Then I am told that she can't see me cause she has other appointment, understandable. I leave my number and get a call back within 15 min's (in that time I had left a review via google) I am told that the prescription they received is for glasses so they can't give me daylies. I've been told personally by optometrists in the past that they get these free by suppliers. After not finding any glasses I liked, most were way to contemporary for me, and not wanting to pay 160$+ generic pair I have at home, I thanked them very much for their assistance but I'll deal with my stupid error. While I was leaving, the opticien which I may say was very knowledgeable, came to me and asked me what they could do to raise the 2 star review I gave them. I said "You already did it" I had written a strict review that I had already planed to revisit after receiving the service I had received. But he then told me. "You should plan accordingly (lost glasses) before giving bad reviews on the Internet. He told me that they don't want riff-raff clients. I guess I should have shaved. Even though I have been wearing contact's for 10 years they basically didn't trust I was telling the truth in order to protect my eyes and their reputation. They require a contact lense appointment even if someone is interested in daylies. Which you cannot fit as they are too thin in the first place, only way to know is to try different kinds until you find the correct fit for you which is the whole damn point with samples!
