I had been going to Dr. Bellemore for some twenty-five years, and it had always been a mixed bag experience. She was very professional, thorough and pleasant. Her staff - not so much. Borderline-rude, always pushing products and indifferent or unhelpful when I ask questions. Her associates, while seemingly getting the job done, do not spend nearly as much time during an eye exam as does Dr. Bellemore, leaving me feeling like the whole thing was rushed. The "needle that broke the camel's back" came after the glasses I bought from Dr. Bellmore's office in July 2017 broke while I was cleaning them. In 35+ years of wearing glasses, I had never broken any until then. Regardless, I phoned them up and the receptionist assured me they would replace the broken nose piece. Great! Next item: I had my prescription from July and wanted to order glasses from clearly.ca, however the script was incomplete as it lacked the P.D. measurement. So, I asked what my P.D. measurement was. She said I would have to come in to have an exam done to measure it and that would cost $40. I informed her that I already had had an eye exam, performed at their establishment, in July 2017, and that the P.D. measurement was surely done because I also ordered glasses at the same time. So, she referred me to someone else, who told me that yes, indeed the P.D. measurement was done but it was their practice (same as any other optometrist, she insisted) not to include it on the prescription. Which, effectively, forces you to buy your glasses at the optometrist's office who does your exam, at which point they'll absorb that cost, or you will have to pay the extortion fee to learn the secret P.D. measurement to buy glasses elsewhere. Well, balogna. I've bought plenty of glasses from Hakim, two for one stores, Sears, etc. and it's never been an issue before. Guess I'm going to have to find out for myself if this is the new way the industry does business.

Had an appointment here a few weeks ago, and saw Dr. Kadlec she was very pleasant and patient with my kids and I My 2 kids loved the staff and were very excited to go pick up their glasses, which were ready just a few days later.

Ive been coming to Dr. Bellemore since I was very young. She's great! The times I've seen her associates I have been very impressed as well. Everyone makes you feel welcome, from the beginning tests to the helping you choose your glasses!

Went back for mom's eye glasses. Michelle at the front desk was rude with strong attitude. If it's not my family doctor referred me there, I will never go back.

They over exaggerated my problem and made me feel like I was going to go blind, also they were a tad on the judgemental side towards my eye injury rather than show concern. By the end of the appointment the main doctor really pushes the sales regarding a uv glasses, so I was made to feel like this is a place that does business rather than genuine concern. Ps. The specialist I was refered to said I'll be fine in a couple weeks. No vision problems etc
