Cubitts is awesome, period. I've been visiting Cubitts for some time now. Normally ordering online, or visiting their store in Leeds, but more recently I switched to their St James's store after a move with work. During the past six months I had visited this store a number of times, initially for a eye exam but also to purchase a number of different frames; you can never have too many pairs of Cubitts. During this time I have found their team to be exceptional and incredibly helpful. The young lady at this store is always engaging and happy to give advice on their offerings. The gents are equally outstanding. After trying many opticians over the years I can wholeheartedly say that Cubitts are amongst the best. There is no hard sell, no pushing you to make a purchase you don't necessarily want. It's truly akin to visiting an old friend - relaxed, honest and a pure pleasure. I am sure their other stores and staff are equally brilliant, but St James's is my new home to all things glasses fantastic. Big thanks to the staff for all their help and guidance.

Chetna provided superlative customer service with knowledge, skill, patients, and a phenomenally "can do" attitude. Her expert friendly assistance greatly exceeeded my expectations and has absolutely secured by loyalty to Cubitts.

Had a wonderful experience getting my eyes tested for the first time. The optometrist was very professional and make me feel at ease. Store manager Harry was then very helpful and accommodating in helping me select the right frames for my face. Will certainly visit again.

Popped into get a much needed new pair of glasses. Had my latest prescription ready and always wanted to try Cubitts. It was early evening, only my wife and myself in the store and two staff. It’s a tiny shop too, so was expecting some routine service. The young lady unenthusiastically asked me if we needed help, I said yes I’m looking for some frames similar to the ones I have, showing her what I was wearing. She said “oh.” I then tried to help her by saying, “the ones over here look quite similar.” She didn’t say anything and began to have a private conversation with the other staff member. I awkwardly tried on a few pairs but the 2 staff members didn’t look up from their gossip for a second. We just left. Was expecting service that was a bit more proactive and friendly, but we literally didn’t feel welcome. Like we’d interrupted their private chat. Really disappointing first experience of Cubitts and it’s honestly made me rethink even getting a pair of their glasses if that’s what all their stores are like. This store does have glowing reviews though so maybe just an off night?

Hi! I ordered a pair of specs on April 22nd and the order still has not been shipped. How can I get a refund? Customer support does not want to answer this question.
