Really good friendly service. My sunglasses were adjusted here with minimal fuss and I highly can recommend this branch.

Great service, very friendly and thankful for the care given. An eye doctor at Moorfields complimented on the optician spotting something that needed urgent care.

The optician was good and friendly but the after care service is appalling. I had to chase for over three weeks to find out when my lenses were ready and to get them fixed to my frames. They never bothered emailing or calling me. They also didn't seem to have an alternative plan for when the lens fixer was on holiday except for having my glasses posted away for several days (which I could not do as I need them for reading and work).

4 stars according to Google is "I liked it" - which is true. I had my eye test and the optician was thorough and friendly. I was lucky enough to have the whole shop to myself after work so all 3 shop assistants were bringing me glasses to try on. They were all polite, honest and friendly. It was a positive experience. Other reviewers are saying that they are pushy in their sales technique. This is true but it's nothing abnormal, I'd say. They were trying to close the sale, as any good salesperson does. No one stood in front of the door or stopped me from trying on glasses until I paid for something. For people who aren't used to dealing with proper sales people, this situation might be a bit strange. I realise that they need to sell to keep their shop and having worked in sales/retail before I can see what's going on so I really didn't see it as a problem at all. Generally a good selection of glasses and despite the seemingly smaller shop than Boots or Spec Savers across the road, they all seem to stock about the same amount of glasses. Only difference is that all of David Clulow's are all designer/brands. Price wise, the glasses I bought were actually cheaper in the shop than they were from online retailers, which I was surprised to find and may have been the 15th pair I tried on! So overall good
