I'm really upset that "free eye test" was followed by "contact lens trial" without being told that there was additional £35!! I was told "Try these lenses on and come back next week. We'll give you the prescription then." But only if I paid £35 apparently, which I did not find out until the week later. Really frustrated. One-star worthy experience, but I gave 2 because some staff are really nice and helpful. Shame other sneaky ones ruined the experience.

Had my eyes tested today by Kate who was really interesting and friendly. The staff I dealt with were great. I came away happy.

The Staff are so lovely and helpful and they helped me to choose some great glasses for a really good price

If I could score them 0 stars i would. quite possibly the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE i have ever experienced in my life. every single staff member is absolutely incompetent. I have waited a total of 2 MONTHS to receive my contact lenses and I still don't have them because they never call me to tell them they are in. At no point have i had an apology from the manager. after being a customer for 10 years i will never spend a penny with boots opticians again.

Fantastic service, great staff and terrific selection on glasses at reasonable prices. Left spec savers and came here and have never been happier!
