Went in to have them help me with ill-fitting glasses even though I didn't buy them from them. Were super friendly and helpful! Walked out happy

Prompted to write this review after receiving txt to have another eye test. Not going to happen. I went there after seeing an add for a German lens/glasses manufacturer - for who these characters are apparently agents. Eye test unremarkable, no mention of issues associated with diabetes and instead of the promised deal advertised- seemed to have many different extras added to the bill that I paid. After that things just got worse. I attended three times to collect and they were not open as advertised. When I collected, took ages to find glasses and then they were just handed over without fitting. Nose pieces were not aligned anywhere near the nose and were even bent differently with one wire poking through the plane of the lenses. I asked about fitting and was told to come back when fitter was back from unexpected absence. Popped into another optician to have fitted and wrote this off as the worst and most unprofessional optical service in 45 years. Complete charlatans - avoid!

A professional, friendly and highly efficient service is provided by a caring optometrist Mr Bakhsh and his optometrist assistant Ms Mirza. I was advised to attend by my GP after suffering a series of eyes being out of focus. From my description of the symptoms, she thought I may have had a detached retina and advised me to see an optometrist immediately. Ms Mirza the assistant was very helpful and arranged an appointment for me immediately with Mr Bakhsh. He spent 2.5 hours inspecting examining. my eyes and came to the conclusion that my retina was not detached. He wrote a letter to my GP advising her of such. Throughout the examination he was professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. He realised that I was concerned about my eyes and did his best to successfully put me at my ease. The after care from Ms Mirza was similarly of a high standard. She did the various measurements on my eyes with expertise and her approach was sympathetic and good humoured. Although not a pleasant experience both Mr Bakhsh and Ms Mirza did their best to put me at my ease and treated me with courtesy and consideration throughout. i shall definitely be using Infocus Optometrists as my optician.
