Last night we had the pleasure of meeting Esther and working with her on finding new frames. She was absolutely amazing. In the past we have used other optical stores but, given my experience with Esther, we will definitely only get glasses here. She was so knowledgeable and took time to hear what my teenage son was looking for and she could answer all of his questions/concerns. I think if anyone can win over a teenager, they are very skilled. You can tell that Esther truly enjoys her work. Great job! She is 5 stars and more.

Bright and airy space. Professional and friendly reception staff. Dr Lorina Yip took her time, and answered all my questions. She was knowledgeable and very confidence inspiring. I ordered two pair of prescription glasses and one pair of prescription sunglasses and they were ready on time and pricing was very competitive. I have been to a number of optometrists, and she and her clinic is the best I’ve seen. Highly recommend.

Stopped going a while back, could never get 2 appointments for 2 people on the same day, one would always disappear. I now find out reception staff is refusing to provide copies of prescriptions and push for glasses to be purchased through them. Not acceptable. Beware. I need to respond, As of REcent, reception staff is not providing printed or hand written prescriptions, like earlier this year 2019. We would book appointments together and magically at reminder calls the appointments are days apart. And while not during the exam in the exam room, glasses sales are pushed on during the visit. There are number of reasons we stopped booking appointments, and have not been back since 2014. It is sad we have had to seek another specialist, however the show must go on.

Very knowledgeable and very friendly. Even though my appointment was at 2:30PM , I wasn't seen until about 3PM so just make sure you leave enough time. I did arrive 20 minutes early but that's not so relevant although I was hoping maybe I would be able to see her as scheduled.

I've been a patient here for 8 years and the eye doctors here are always great. They take their time and explain everything. My two negatives are appointment scheduling and 'upselling' products/services. I've had appointments that were booked in advance, only to show up and be told that their was no record of such appointments. Then I show them the appointment card they wrote on and gave to me at the time and then I get a bewildered look. Other times, I show up to see one doctor and told that doctor is running behind and I should see another doctor, unless I mind waiting an hour or so. That's after having booked that appointment two weeks in advance. The second negative I have about this clinic is that they try to sell you services or products that you don't want or need, like eye lubricants or a detailed picture of my eye for $40 to $80 (which isn't covered by my insurance or OHIP. I've paid in the past, in fear if I don't, they might not take me as a patient. But those pictures are more useful to the doctors than me. I'm not trained in that field to 'appreciate' what the exam reveals. I just want to know if my eye is healthy or not. I don't might if they do that exam, look at the findings and say "yep, everything looks good"...I don't need (nor do I get) a hard copy of that examination and then be charged $40-$80 for it. The doctors are great but two negatives I mentioned need to be improved, appointment scheduling and up-selling services/products.
