WOW what an outstanding optical store! I am absolutely blown away by the level of knowledge these guys have and the speed and level of service is top notch. I would not go to any other optical store EVER. You feel like a queen when you walk in. It has a great selection of "upper level" designer and mainstream frames. Excellent excellent excellent is all I can say. One of the best retail experiences I have ever had. Not even close to the others who do not explain much to you and leave you to wonder aimlessly. Fantasic. Highly recommended.

Although the location was very beautiful and the staff were very helpful and nice, I’m disappointed with the actual service. I got my prescription here but as their glasses were expensive and I couldn’t find something I liked, I took my prescription elsewhere. This prescription is clearly wrong as my glasses are now blurrier than my own eye sight. Very disappointed. I mentioned to the doctor this wasn’t my usual prescription but he insisted this was better. I’m even feeling a head ache within 5 minutes of wearing it.

Had visited OT8 last year to get a set of glasses made. Have to say great store great people. Sadly I was unable to wear the glasses they made for me. They made them twice too. Lots of respect for their customer service. Very respectful and kind. But the first pair I was told was measured wrong. They remade the lenses. I asked to put in a Nikon upgrade which I hoped would be better. But alas I could nor wear them either. Feeling defeated those progressives would only come out for hard to read items. Sadly today I find out those lenses were possibly measured wrong. The lens was too high up from where it would make sense to use. The glasses were measured at the York Optometric Centre. Y.O.C is making me a new set. Here's hoping that they will be usable.

Large selection of glasses and the sales people are very helpful. I would definitely return.

Do not buy from these people. The anti-reflective coating comes off on the edges touching skin on my $1,000+ lenses, starting before 12 months, and they do not cover it on warranty after 12 months when it uncovers the whole surface of the two lenses. They are unusable. Then they will not respond to a complaint in person twice, and by phone to "head office" in the Scarborough store. My husband will have me remove the Google Maps 360 degree Street View tour he did of the Aurora store.
