This was the worst experience I have had getting glasses hands down. I have moved a lot and have got glasses from many different places, this place takes the cake for poor quality and poor customer service. Let me clarify that before I go on, I had good experiences with some employees here it really was one manager that left me feeling this way. Almost exactly one month ago I bought a brand new pair of Armani glasses with anti glare and scratch resistant coating. I have several surface scratches already on both lenses. For work I sit at a desk, I am building my own website so I come home and sit at a desk, my point is I do nothing to warrant scratches. I take good care of my glasses and always use the cloth provided with the solution I purchased to clean them, there should not be scratches after one month. I politely explained this to the manager, she started accusing me of throwing my glasses down on their surface and not taking care of them properly even giving me a lesson on how to clean them in a very mocking tone. Her only solution was for me to buy the protection plan and pay $25 each lens on top of that for them to be repaired. During all of this I was also told that what I bought wasn't really good enough and if I had bought the premium coating this wouldn't have happened. I left this experience knowing that their only intentions are to up sell, if you don't but the absolute premium package then they are going to try and force their unnecessary protection plan on you and make an additional $50 every few months to repair their low quality product. My suggestion is do not waste your money here, go to Hakim optical, it is right across the street and you will get a much better product. I will never go back to LensCrafters after this experience.

Very friendly and professional service. My glasses were centred on my face using a new computerized system and the optician was very knowledgeable with a thorough grasp of how to make the glasses really fit. As I look at pictures all day for a living this was very important.

Worst experience getting glasses here. As someone mentioned before, I did have better experiences with some employees (the optometrist who fit me for my glasses was fantastic & the assistant manager was incredible and super friendly) however, one manager was incredibly pushy and rude. I usually go to EyeDocs, but since they don't carry RayBan frames I thought I'd give LensCrafters a try. I work downtown so convenience was a HUGE factor. When I first went in, I had the model number of the frames and I knew what I wanted. The manager was incredibly pushy with their "premium" options, I know they have to try to up sell, but she was incredibly rude about it. She kept adding on the extras before even asking me. Anyways, I ended up ordering their BlueIQ lenses with the standard anti-scratch and glare resistant. I didn't feel it was necessary to upgrade because my glasses before, that I purchased through EyeDocs and have had for 3 years, never scratched with a similar cost/coating. I also declined the protection plan, because, I shouldn't need it if the product is quality, right? Wrong. Terrible quality. My glasses scratched within 12 hours - I picked them up and drove to Toronto, got to my hotel, put my glasses on the end table and noticed in the morning there was a giant scratch on them. In less than 24 hours. When I called Monday morning, the same manager answered, and said that they are scratch resistant and not scratch proof and that the only thing she could do for me is sell me the protection plan late and then I'd have to pay to have new lenses. I told her that I was disappointed with the quality and her response was that I should have gotten the better coating... really? They did obviously get scratched, but my point is, I did not drop them or throw them around what so ever. Anyways, I just took my frames in for the new lenses and got the same manager yet again and she said it would be 1hr and they'd call me... I finally received an email back from the 4 hours after I had dropped them off. When I went in the next day an assistant manager helped me and she was incredibly friendly and fast! Anyways, I would stay away. Go to Hakim or another local shop, but not here. Quality is poor for the "standard" coatings, so if you do plan on the protection plan and premium coatings.

Needed glasses in 30 min as i had to be on a train and last day for benefits- i usually take 6 months to shop. The guy was an absolute pro. Within 10 min he showed me about 5 that fit and looked reasonable. He took care to make sure of size. They shipped them to my Ontario address. I forgot my glasses there which they also shipped in two days! No charge. I really like my new glasses.

Went there a month ago because of a pair of glasses that bent because of my poor care. (Glasses weren't even from there, I bought them from costco). Then a kind gentleman (of whom I don't remember his name but I believe he wa's ethnically east asian) helped me readjust them to the size of face until I was completely satisfied. Really appreciate it! Also it was free so that's a bonus, hats off for the wonderful customer serice and I know where to buy my glasses next time!
