Purchase two pairs of high end glasses at the Place D Orleans location in March, 2018. Customer service and attention to detail was superb. I have been wearing glasses all of my adult life - and purchased frames and lens from "everywhere in Ottawa" - but this was the most time and care I had ever received in fitting, measuring and the aesthetics of frame selection. Have dropped by twice since purchase, for minor fitting adjustments (as they recommend) and I am treated like a valued customer each time. Nice to see a family run business "doing it right".

They are worst people ,paid for kids visions and lenses more than $700.00 and once we went there for adjustment of eye vision of kids and getting new glasses, kids starts complaining that they cant see. Then they book us for next doctor appointment. When coming for appointment after a week then they call us on our way to their store that doctor is not available. They did the same thing even in next appointment. When i called them and ask for refund us our money as they took my money and even not given glasses. The manager told me it take some time to refund. After one month i went there and spoke with them then they refused to give my money back.So now more than two months no refunding money and even glasses.they are cheater, pls be aware of these people. Now i will definitely take them to court so they will not do with someone else.

We brought our daughter and what a terrible experience! First, during the eye exam, the technician was rushing our daughter: "Go faster, go faster!" to choose options. So she had to choose under stress! Consequence: misdiagnosis! She suffered for a year (especially headaches) because she had the wrong lenses! Second, when it was time to choose a frame, once again, we relied on them. They gave her an adult one that was too heavy. After the adjustment, it was painful on her ears. We then had to buy a second frame still with wrong lenses! Same issue as they don't have kids' ones and they only want to sell! We then decided to go to LensCrafters where the diagnosis was finally right... she has stigmatism which the technician at Laurier Optical did not find! What a shame! We called the Head Office many times but I think they don't care!

I have been wearing progressive lenses for a long time but no one told me that there are variety of progressive lenses on the market. First time I have been explained different kind of progressive lenses; I was impressed with their knowledge.
