I've been a patient at Alexander Eye Associates for three years now and have always been happy with my experiences. I go for yearly eye exams/contact rechecks, but this year I decided I should update my 10+ year old glasses (yes, that right, 10 years old, frames and lenses). The thought of picking the "wrong" glasses was enough to make me avoid the experience for far too long. Since I had no idea where to start, Megan and Joanne grabbed glasses off the wall and helped me narrow down the frame shape and color that looked the best on me. When it came to lenses, they walked me through the pros and cons of all the options. It was fast, easy, and FUN! And now I have super cool glasses that I absolutely love!

I've been a going to Alexander Eye for a few years now. After numerous poor experiences at the VA and other large chain optical establishments, I figured I would venture elsewhere. A friend of Mine told me about Alexander and wouldn't stop talking about how much he loved that place, (which i thought was weird cause why would you talk about your eye doctor like that) and now I am happy to know what he was talking about. Dr. Sugnet gives ME recommendations on my what tests we should conduct and why, my contacts/glasses that best suit my eye and takes the time to further educate me on my eye health. I never feel rushed or that I am pressured to purchase anything. They have always been flexible with my every changing and crazy schedule and the receptionists have always followed up with reminder calls (which I need). The Eye glass selection is amazing with tons a great styles and I think Jimmy spent almost an hour recently helping me choose which frame not only suited me best but also fit properly..... I didn't even purchase glasses from them that day! but they were so accommodating that I went back to make sure the people who deserved my business got it. The list goes on. If your looking for an outstanding Eye health experience.... look no further. They don't accept my employers insurance, I can get free eye exams and glasses from the VA... I still come back and will continue too. When your dealing with something as important as your vision.... I would think you would want the best care possible and this is where you'll find it.

I’ve always had an excellent experience here! They’ve always gone above and beyond with my eye care and glasses. My appointments are always a pleasure!

I don't usually leave reviews, but I picked this place based on the (mostly) good reviews. They told me two days ago that my eyemed insurance wouldn't cover exams at my first appt with them today. I had set the exam a week before today - would've been nice to know sooner. I told them I'd see if my medical insurance would. Then I hurt my neck the next day and spent most of it on painkillers, unable to sit up without assistance. I realized in the evening that I hadn't told my wife to call them back about the insurance - so I called in the morning to cancel the appointment altogether and see if rescheduling would be okay. I see what the one bad review meant. The receptionist said nothing besides what she needed to confirm that neither me nor my wife would be giving them money today. Then she said "bye" (verbatim) and hung up on me midsentence while I was apologizing and about to ask about rescheduling. Now I'm in pain, immobilized at a time when I really can't afford it, AND pissed. Based on the good reviews, I expect they're polite and cooperative at Alexander Eye Associates as long as interactions go smoothly, but you could say the same thing about some toddlers. I'll be looking elsewhere for our exams + frames and wish I had just slept in today instead. It would've been rude, but that seems to be par for the course.

I’m glad I found Alexander Optometry when I was in search for a new eye doctor. The staff (doctors and administrative personnel) are friendly and efficient. The location is convenient and easy to get to. Reception even called to verify my coverage.
