I don't always write a review but when I saw an unjustified 1 star review, I felt obligated to write something. It's clear from Rose Grandbois's review that she is unfamiliar with how "private" the campground property is or how well it's maintained. The Association and it's members are very lucky to have kept such a beautiful spot and although the road is smaller than normal, it's very much drive-able. I was also at the property on Family Day and although the snow was unexpected, I appreciated the salt that was used on the concrete and it was clear from all the snow plowed, that someone takes great care in running this location. It's evident that Mrs. Gadbois didn't take the time to speak to the caretakers about the work they are doing on the property and how much has changed over the few years they've been working there. I hope Rose that your daughter is reading this and that she doesn't base her opinion on yours. This facility is without a doubt, a great location for a wedding. I've been coming here for years with my family and can't thank the Association enough for maintaining such a beautiful spot. If the caretakers are reading this, please keep up the great work you do. Although, we don't always say it, we appreciate the hard work and it's clear over the past few years that you treat this property like it was your own. Thank you!

I was asked by to drive someone there for a wedding that was held there on Family day. I knew it was quite far to get to, but what I didn't know was the road down into the facility had 1 pair of tracks and 2 to 3 foot snow on both sides of what I call a dog sled trail. when we finally got down there and I see a man working very hard on the sidewalks to clear them for the guests and the bride and groom as I understand it was an outdoor wedding. I put the window down and asked him how long they knew there was a wedding there on the weekend and he told me he was a guest. You should be ashamed of yourselves for having a wedding guest clean the snow from the sidewalks, I find it very unprofessional very mismanaged and a disgrace. It is a beautiful facility and by the looks of it, it would be quite expensive, I really think the people paying for your facility for the wedding should and deserves quite a big discount on the price. I was wondering how to manage on the way out if I met another vehicle thankfully there was a 4 wheel drive truck I followed out and he made a trail in the 3 to 4 foot snow. Just for your information my daughter is getting married in 2019 and wants an outdoor wedding, I told her if she even considered that place I would not attend, mostly for the disregard you show for anyone using your facility
