Incredible experience here. This place will instill in you a great appreciation of Canadian musicianship. You will be surprised at how many of your favorite artists are Canadian! Great instrument collections, and a set for the public to try out. Nice coffee shop and gift shop that features local vendors. The building is an architectural masterpiece, and being inside is an all-around pleasant experience.

Our experience was on Canada Day (free admission) so it was INSANE. It would have been nice to be in a group of 10 or less people with hardly anyone else around. Hopefully we can try a calmer day soon. Definitely some cool demonstrations. I missed playing on a harpsichord though!

Beautiful place to enjoy history and see exhibits. They have a great selection of interactive pieces that allows you to immerse yourself in music and art. The layout of the building is well designed. They have two stairwells going from the main floor to the 5th floor allowing easy access for a large number of guests. Depending on how slow you walk through the building you could easily spend 2-4 hours here.

Loved it! The music center provides interesting Canadian music facts along with many interactive stations! Very informative but also a lot of fun. Ever wanted to try out a sound booth for singing? Play guitar, drums or the keyboard etc and learn about national music? Then this is the place to go! On top of all that..the architecture of the center is beautiful!

Studio Bell is truly a National Treasure! It is so gorgeous and well designed. It has a beautiful performance area for live performances. It can hold approximately 235 people comfortably. The lighting and design of the building is truly unique. What a wonderful location to celebrate Canadian music. There is much to learn and celebrate. Beverly Mahood and Company put on a wonderfully intimate show to raise money and awareness for the Calgary Seniors Resource Society.
