Well cared for rural Hall for parties of a hundred or so. Easily accessed from Wye Road a half kilometer east of Highway 21.

The potluck they have is always well done and the atmosphere is great and the place is clean and we'll kept. If you get invited to a function there well worth it.!!!

worst hall i have ever seen. they don't take care of the hall. they don't give you back your damage deposit and blame you for stupid things like stuff they have at the hall u leaving behind when was leaving something worth not give back a damage. this hall is not equipped with a sound system so u have to bring your own. not easy for people in wheel chairs to get in to or use the bathroom. to get the keys they make u go to there house. never show up on time. Just the worst hall i have even seen.

To be clear the reason the hall is getting the one star is because the volunteers who are responsible for providing access to view are very nice and try to accommodate your schedule. We booked the hall months ago for a “day after wedding party” for a Sunday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in August 2018. As the event became closer, we wanted to look at the hall again to remind ourselves of the setup, chairs, tables, etc. Firstly, receiving a response at all takes time but once the volunteers are advised that someone wants to view, you will receive multiple calls. We viewed the hall on a Sunday at 1:00 p.m. which is the same time that our event would be starting. There was a party of some type the night before and even though obligated to clean, the hall had not been cleaned. There was food on the floor, dirty kitchen, one of the burners was left on, the volunteer asked us not to go into the bathroom because of the filthy state, and there were flies flying around everywhere. This was quite alarming for us as this was the same time that our event would be starting. Unfortunately, when we communicated our concerns to the Coordinator, she could not confirm that they had a “backup plan” or any professional cleaning service on standby to ensure the hall was clean by 1:00 on Sunday. In other words, we better bring our own cleaning supplies and get scrubbing if we wanted a clean hall. I would not recommend this hall as a good place to go for an event. We ended up booking at Woodvale (Millwoods Community Hall) and the service and food were excellent.
