Pros:. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for hiking and a short drive to Banff. Was great to get away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds in town. The room was nice, and very clean. Cons: The trip from the base of the mountain to the lodge via gondola or bus takes between 20-30 minutes and can eat into activity time. Also shuttle and gondola shut down around 6pm, you can still get back to the lodge after that time, but may have to wait for a while at the base. The restaurant options at the lodge in the Summer are more limited than during ski season. I would highly recommend for a long weekend, but not as a base of operations for a long stay in the mountains.

Went and had a meal at the restaurant and it was a very nice setting. We went during a quiet hour and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The view of the mountain was nice and pretty as well. The food was good and delicious and fairly priced. Good food, nice staff; great place to hang out.

Loved are stay here. We started off are reservation was cancelled but when we got there not only did they get us the best price we were given an upgraded room with a beautiful view and had the most romantic weekend. This is a place that I'll always remember because all the staff when out of their way to make it a perfect weekend.

Rooms are small but clean and well maintained. Sound carries very easily between rooms, so don't plan on partying late. Service is fantastic, though food could be better with a little effort. Trappers is old and smells like decades of skier sweat, could use a Reno lol

Hotel room was simple and nice. Hot tub was wonderful. Not all rooms have a great view, but the grounds and the gondola of the hotel have great views. The front desk staff was exceptionally helpful.
